Richard C. âDickâ Weisenbarger, 79, of 801 Oliver St., St. Marys, and formerly of Van Wert, died Friday, Aug. 19, 2011, at Miami Valley Hospital in Dayton following a brief illness.
He was born Dec. 29, 1931, in Darke County, the son of Mabel (Carmony) and Wilbur Weisenbarger, who preceded him in death.
He married Izez Weadock Ankerman on May 22, 1993, and she survives at the residence.
He also is survived by three children, Kay Jennings, of Arkansas; Kevin Weisenbarger, of Green Cove Spring, Fla.; and Kristin Weisenbarger, of Jonesboro, Tenn.
Betty E. LaWarre, 90, of Titusville, Fla., formerly of Cridersville, died at 5:15 a.m. Thursday, Aug. 18, 2011, at the Tranquility Haven Care Center in Titusville.
She was born July 26, 1921, in Lima, the daughter of Minerva M. (Eulrich) and William A. Biddinger. On May 23, 1942, she married Robert W. LaWarre Sr., who died April 24, 1997.
Surviving are two sons, Robert W. (Lorea) LaWarre II, of Memphis, Tenn., and Ned (Kim) LaWarre, of Titusville, Fla.
She was preceded in death by a son, Timothy D. LaWarre; and a daughter, Pennie L. Tone.
Lois L. Wood, 82, 04893 McKinley Road, St. Marys, died at 10:30 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 16, 2011, at her residence.
She was born January 5, 1929, in Mendon, the daughter of Mabel (Mutersbaugh) and David Boroff. On May 19, 1948, she married David Wood and he preceded her in death on Jan. 16, 1997.
She is survived by her five children: Lana Boos, of St. Marys, Michael Wood, of Delaware, Deborah West, of Lima, Pamela McKee, of Springfield, and Teresa (Brad) Pyles, of St. Marys.
Private graveside services are being held at Elm Grove Cemetery in St. Marys, with the Rev. Dr. Ed Bray officiating.
P. Jeanne McFarland, 78, of St. Marys, died at 1:34 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 17, 2011, at the Golden Living Center in St. Marys.
She was born Aug. 23, 1932, in Logan Co. On Oct. 14, 1968, she married William âBillâ McFarland, and he survives in St. Marys.
Also surviving are two sisters, Barb âToniâ Koch, of Toledo, MaryGene Harman, of Maryland; numerous nieces & nephews, including Teri, Mike, Ryan, and Kim Yahl, and Mike and Tim Harman; a sister-in-law, Susie Thompson; and two brothers-in-law, P.J. Burnett, and John McFarland.
William R. Carey, 78, of Lima, died at 8:08 p.m. Monday, Aug. 11, 2011, at Triumph Hospital in Lima.
He was born June 3, 1933, in Champaign County, Ill., the son of Mary E. ((Marsh) and Lowell C. Carey. On Nov. 6, 1970, he married Helen L. Springer Erb Carey, who survives.
Also surviving is a son, Russell W. Carey, of Phoenix, Ariz.; and two daughters, Starlet D. Bowles, of Delphos, and Theresa Carey, of Phoenix, Ariz.
Graveside services are at 11:30 a.m. Friday at Memorial Park Cemetery, in Lima, with the Rev. Ray Hadley officiating. Condolences may be shared at bayliffandson.com
Robert J. Bayham, 95, 04370 Poppe Road, St. Marys, died Monday, Aug. 15, 2011, at his residence.
He was born March 14, 1916, in Dayton, the son of Flora (Hobler) and Frank Bayham. On Jan. 5, 1946, he married Cecilia M. Bochenek and she died Oct. 3, 2008.
Virginia L. Vincent, 89, of Lima, died at 5:05 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 9, 2011, at Elm Croft Assisted Living in Lima.
She was born Sept. 11, 1921, in Detroit, the daughter of Elizabeth (Boczek) and Jacob Zalesku. On Oct. 11, 1941, she married John âJack Vincent who died Nov. 18, 1978.
She is survived by a daughter, Sherrly E. Vincent Wheeler, of Lima.
Private services will be held at Resurrection Cemetery in Mount Clemens, Mich., the Rev. Jerry Slowinski officiating.

John C. Slone, 56, of Wapakoneta, formerly of Plymouth, died at 7:40 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 11, 2011, at his residence.
He was born May 30, 1955, in South Bend, Ind., the son of Emma Jean (Hatton) and Charlie Joe Slone. On June 28, 1998, he married Jean Ella Binkley, who survives.
Also surviving is a son, Brandon Edward Slone, of Willard.
Services will be held at a later date.
There will be no visitation.
Contributions can be given to the family for Brandonâs education.

Theresa Jane âTessâ Neal, 59,of Waynesfield, died at 3:12 a.m. Thursday, Aug. 11, 2011, at her residence.
She was born Aug. 18, 1951, in Lima, to Melvina âJewelâ (Hagan) and Melvin F. Hawkins. On Aug. 9, 1980, she married Donald Neal and he survives in Waynesfield.
Also surviving are a son, John F. (Amber) Neal, of Buckland; and a daughter, Sarah J. Neal, of Harrod.
Services are at 11 a.m. Monday at Waynesfield Baptist Church, the Revs. Don Smith and James Blevens officiating.
Friends may call from 9 to 11 a.m. Monday at the church.
Carl R. âDickâ Heil, 92, of Cridersville, formerly of Wapakoneta, died at 12:20 a.m., Thursday, Aug. 11, 2011, at Otterbein-Cridersville.
He was born Nov. 21, 1918, in Auglaize County, the son of Emma (Cook) and Herbert Heil, who preceded him in death. On July 10, 1945, he married Lanetta Mills, and she died Jan. 4, 1977. On Dec. 22, 1984, he married Mary E. Shaw, and she survives.
