Gladys Kidd, 68

Gladys L. Kidd, 68, of Wapakoneta, died at 12:20 a.m. Wednesday, Dec. 7, 2011, at her residence.
Arrangements are incomplete at The Bayliff & Eley Funeral Home in Wapakoneta.

James King, 84

December 7, 2011

James L. King, 84, of Kenton, died at 6:15 a.m. Tuesday, Dec. 6, 2011, at Hardin Memorial Hospital in Kenton.
He was born Jan. 17, 1927, in Kenton County, the son of Esther (Doster) and Hiram King. On Feb. 27, 1950, he married Martha Edna Rall and she died May 5, 2002.
Surviving are four daughters, Karen Hamilton, of Kenton, Cheryl Hays, of Ridgeway, Bobbie Sue Busch, of Gig Harbor, Wash., and Tiffiny King, of West Liberty.
No public service or visiting hours are planned.
Arrangements are being handled by Bayliff & Son Funeral Home in Cridersville.

Jacob Limbert, stillborn

December 6, 2011

Jacob Lewis Limbert, of Minster, was stillborn at 3:55 a.m., Sunday, Dec. 4, 2011, at Miami Valley Hospital in Dayton.
He was the son of Julie (Fullenkamp) and Scott Limbert, who survive in Minster.
Also surviving is a sister, Makaylee Limbert.
He was preceded in death by a sister, Elizabeth Marie Limbert.
Private family services will be at the Bayliff & Eley Funeral Home in Wapakoneta, with the Rev. John Tonkin officiating. Burial will follow at Immaculate Conception Cemetery in Botkins.

Ralph Pickering, 77

Ralph E. Pickering Sr., 77, of New Bremen, died at 3:45 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 4, 2011, at Kindred Hospital in Lima.
He was born on June 24, 1934, in West Alexandria, the son of Eva G. (Roach) and Karl V. Pickering. On Dec. 21, 1957, he married Emilie J. Lininger, who survives near New Bremen.

Ruth Treglia, 80

Ruth JoAnne Treglia, 80, of rural Lafayette, died at 3:37 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 3, 2011, at Otterbein in Cridersville.
She was born March 12, 1931, in Lafayette, the daughter of Mildred (Davidson) and Edward Hefner. On Aug. 14, 1951, she married Phillip “Mack” Treglia who preceded her in death Sept. 13, 2005.
Surviving are five daughters, Julia A. Rex, of Harrod, Patricia B. Wheeland, of Urbana, Linda D. Thayer, of Lafayette, Mary Smith, of Spencerville, and Ann Deerhake, of Lafayette.

Clarence Lee Walters, 81

Pastor Clarence Lee Walters, 81, of Wapakoneta, died at 6:57 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 3, 2011 at Lima Memorial Health Systems from a very short battle with Leukemia.
He was born March 21, 1930, in Lima, to Allene McDaniel and Roy Lee Walters. On July 3, 1949, he married Nancy ‘Kitten’ Schultheis, whwo survives.
Also surviving are six children, Debbie (Earl) Caudill, Greg (Cathy) Walters, Mike (Angie) Walters, Connie (Derrick) Martin, Seth (Haley) Walters and a foster son Tom (Diane) Frank.

Mary Lou Nagel, 84

Mary Lou Nagel, 84, 217 Sturgeon Street, St. Marys, died at 11 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 1, 2011, at Joint Township District Memorial Hospital in St. Marys.
She was born July 18, 1927, in St. Marys, the daughter of LaVere (Hudson) and Edwin Martin. In 1958, she married LeRoy L. Nagel, who survives.
Also surviving are three sons, David Nagel, of Bowling Green, Kim Nagel, of Union City, Tenn., and Kevin Nagel, of St. Marys.
She was preceded in death by an infant daughter, Elizabeth Ann Nagel, and a son, John Nagel.

Patricia R. “Pat” Wagner, 80

Patricia R. “Pat” Wagner, 80, of Wapakoneta, died at 4:53 a.m. Thursday, Dec. 1, 2011, at St. Rita’s Medical Center in Lima, surrounded by her loving family.
She was born Dec. 6. 1930, in Hancock County, the daughter of Treva (Pheneger) and Arthur “Ed” DeLong, who preceded her in death. On July 23, 1950, she married Russell M. “Shorty” Wagner, and he died May 16, 1990.

Franklin Rostorfer, 76

December 2, 2011

Franklin R. Rostorfer, 76, of rural Wapakoneta, died Wednesday morning, Nov. 30, 2011, from injuries sustained in an auto accident on Ohio 235, in Logan County.
He was born Aug. 8, 1935, in Clay Township, Auglaize County, the son of Margaret (Cook) and Clifford Rostorfer, who preceded him in death. On March 3, 1962, he married Judy A. Metz, and she survives.
