Elizabeth E. Chesbrough, 77, of Wapakoneta, died at 7:30 a.m. Wednesday, Jan. 4, 2012, at her grandson‚Äôs home in Chattanooga, Tenn.
She was born March 1, 1934, in Benton, Penn., the daughter of Lois (Hess) Yost and Frank Yost.
She moved to Wapakoneta when she was 18. She married Millard Boyer and they had two children, Tom Boyer and Arlene Boyer.
Millard Boyer and Tom Boyer preceded her in death.
Linda C. Lenhart, 70, of 314 Market Street, St. Marys, died at 11:17 a.m. Thursday, January 5, 2012, at the St. Marys Living Center.
She was born Jan. 12, 1941, in New Knoxville, the daughter of Dorothy (Glass) and Ernest Kattman. On June 8,1953, she married LeRoy Lenhart, and he survives at the residence.
Also surviving are her mother, Dorothy Kattman, of New Knoxville; and five daughters, Laura Hoehamer, of Rockford, Jodi Hagan, of St. Marys, Patti Schaublin, of Columbia, S. C.; Susan Paul, of New Bremen, and Caren Mahlie, of St. Marys.
Eva Bigelow‚ÄďCarver, 82, formerly of 524 Locust Str., St. Marys, died at 9:50 a.m. Thursday, Jan. 5, 2012, at Joint Township District Memorial Hospital in St. Marys.
She was born July 15, 1929 in Langley, Ark., to Lenora (Cowart) and Lon and Brown.
Surviving are a son, Larry (Julie) Bigelow of Sarasota, Fla.; and a daughter, Cynthia (Greg) Snyder, of St. Marys.
She was preceded in death by her first husband Harold Bigelow; and a second husband, Thomas Carver.
Marian Albers Holthaus, 83, of Wapakoneta, died 9:47 a.m. Wednesday, Jan. 4, 2012, at Auglaize Acres.
She was born Nov. 8, 1928, in Anna, the daughter of Helen (Raterman) and Anthony Albers, who preceded her in death. On Aug. 19, 1950, she married Norbert C. Holthaus, and he survives in Wapakoneta.
Also surviving are two sons, James (Violetta) Holthaus, of Wapakoneta, and Gary (Helen) Holthaus, of Wapakoneta; two step-grandchildren, Becky (Gary) Baldosser and Brenda (Rodney) Snavely; four step-great grandchildren, Scott, Darin, Nathan, and Kayla; a sister-in-law, Judy Albers, of Sidney.
Marian Holthaus, 83, of Wapakoneta, died at 9:47 a.m. Wednesday, Jan. 4, 2012, at Auglaize Acres.
Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. at the Bayliff & Eley Funeral Home in Wapakoneta.
Arrangements are incomplete at the funeral home.
Pamela Maria ‚ÄúSunshine‚ÄĚ Carr-Fyke, 65, of 5212 Raywood Lane, Nashville, Tenn., formerly of Pemberton, passed away Sunday, Jan.1, 2012, at the Skyline Medical Center in Nashville, Tenn.
She was born on Dec. 6, 1946, in Botkins, the daughter of the late Wanda (Lotridge) and Elmo Stegeman.
Bernadine Potbury, 90, formerly of 1102 Neil Avenue, St. Marys, died at 6:25 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 31, 2011, at Otterbein St. Marys.
She was born May 3, 1921 in Brown City, Mich., to Cora Mae (Walker) and Roy Eastman. On Aug. 5, 1939, she married Robert E. Potbury, who died Feb. 21, 1993.
Lewis H. Metzger, 86, of Spencerville, died Friday afternoon, Dec. 30, 2011, at the Cleveland Clinic following complications of surgery on Nov. 4, 2011.
He was born April 6, 1925, in Spencerville, the son of Carrie (Stonehill) and Frederick Metzger, who are deceased. On June 21, 1947, he married LaDonna E. Good, who survives.
He is survived by four children, Frederick L. ‚ÄúFred‚ÄĚ Metzger, of Spencerville, Gary L. Metzger, of St. Marys, Randall K. ‚ÄúRandy‚ÄĚ Metzger, of Spenccerville, and Penney R. Gerdeman, of Fort Jennings.
Michael D. ‚ÄėMike‚Äô Hoffman, 73, of Lima, died at 8:12 p.m., Thursday, Dec. 29, 2011, at St. Rita‚Äôs Medical Center, Lima.
He was born April 29, 1938, in Logansport, Ind. He is the son of Mildred (Murray) and Robert E. Hoffman. Both parents are deceased. On Oct. 26, 1957 he married Janet R. Whitmer, who survives in Lima.
Mr. Hoffman was a plant manager with International Brake of Lima and also worked in sales with Prudential. He served in the U.S. Army. He was a member of the Lima First Assembly of God Church. He was a big Notre Dame fan and loved hunting.
David Raymond Kreitzer, 56 of Lima, died at 6:32am on Dec. 31, 2011 at St. Rita‚Äôs Medical Center in Lima.
He was born on April 2, 1955, in Springfield, Mass. to Hazel (Rudity) and Raymond Kreitzer, who both preceded him in death. Dave was raised in Wapakoneta where he graduated from high school in 1973.
On June 4, 2005, he married Donna M. Gerad, who survives in Lima.
