Otis F. Slone, 72, of Wapakoneta, formerly of Michigan, died at 9:23 p.m. Friday at Kindred Hospital in Lima.
He was born Jan. 26, 1939, in Magoffin, Ky., the son of Irene (Fletchers) and Sam Saylor. He married Sylvia Collins, who preceded him in death.
Surviving are a son, Mark D. Slone, of Michigan; and two daughters, Vernice Williams, of Wapakoneta, and Joannie Slone, of Michigan.
Services are at 2 p.m. Monday at Bayliff & Son Funeral Home in Cridersville. Burial will follow at Shawnee Cemetery.

Christeen C. Barry, 93, of Wapakoneta, died Saturday night, Dec. 10, 2011, at her sonâ€™s home.
She was born Sept. 24, 1918, in Rossiter, Pa., the daughter of Marge (Thomas) and Earl Chapman. On Feb. 4, 1940, she married William Paul Barry, who died Oct. 25, 1996.
Surviving is a son, William E. Barry, of Wapakoneta, and a daughter, Martha Jo Lee, of Beavercreek.
Services are at 1 p.m. Wednesday at Bayliff & Son Funeral Home in Cridersville. Burial will follow at Memorial Park Cemetery in Lima.
Friends may call from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home..
Ryan Dean Berg, 7 months, of New Bremen, passed away peacefully at 3:32 p.m. Friday, Dec. 9, 2011 at Cincinnati Childrenâ€™s Hospital surrounded by his family.
He was born on May 11, 2011, at the Miami Valley Hospital in Dayton, the son of Stephanie Gillingham and Jamie Berg, who survive him in New Bremen.
Also surviving at home is his brother, Jay Michael Gillingham.
Services are at 11 a.m. Tuesday at the First Baptist Church in Sidney, the Rev. George Gnade officiating.
Friends may call from 10 to 11 a.m. Tuesday at the church.
Lola Jean â€śJeanieâ€ť Miller, 80, of Wapakoneta, died at 4 a.m. Sunday, Dec. 11, 2011, at her residence.
She was born Sept. 16, 1931, in Auglaize County, the daughter of Erma (Miller) and Fred Nuss, who preceded her in death. On Sept. 12, 1948, she married Robert L. â€śBobâ€ť Miller, and he died Oct. 12, 2002.
Virgil Stienecker, 89, of St. Marys, died Sunday, Dec. 11, 2011, at Otterbein â€“ St. Marys.
Arrangements are incomplete at Miller Funeral Homes in St. Marys.
Dr. William A. Taylor, 83, of Findlay, died at 7:20 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 10, 2011, in Birchaven Retirement Village.
No public services or visiting hours are planned.

Robert W. Huckeriede, 78, 2405 Kensington Drive, St. Marys, died at 5:30 p.m. Friday, Dec. 9, 2011, at Joint Township District Memorial Hospital in St. Marys.
He was born Nov. 17, 1933, in Auglaize County, the son of A. Ruth (Steva) and Wilbur Huckeriede. On May 5, 1956, in the Evangelical & Reformed Church in New Knoxville, he married Shirley Janelle Kuck, who survives.
Ned A. Glass, 72, 710 Stoneybrook Dr., St. Marys, died at 6:37 a.m. Wednesday, Dec. 7, 2011, at Lima Memorial Health System.
He was born March 11, 1939, in Noble Township, Auglaize County, the son of Ruth (Rasneor) and Ivan â€śMikeâ€ť Glass. On Dec. 26, 1959, at St. Peterâ€™s Evangelical & Reformed Church in New Bremen, he married Christine F. Richey, who survives.
Also surviving are a son, Michael Glass, and two daughters, Christi Mae Buehler, and Angela L. Glass, all of St. Marys.
He was preceded in death by two sons, Dougie Allen Glass and Jeffie Allen Glass.
Charles â€śRogerâ€ť McKinniss, 80, of Ray, passed away Tuesday, Dec. 6, 2011, at the Laurels of Worthington.
He was born Sept. 13, 1931, in Coalton, the son of the late Frances Clark McCamic and Charles McKinniss. He married Rosemary Mehrle McKinniss, who survives.
Also survivng are two sons, Charles McKinniss and Eric (Tammy) McKinniss; three daughters, Kathleen McKinniss, Amelia McKinniss and Jennifer (Ken) Padgett; two brothers, Larry (Rosemary) McKinniss and Chester McKinniss; a sister, Crystal (Don) Cook; 21 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren.
Gladys L. Kidd, 68, of Wapakoneta, died at 12:20 a.m. Wednesday, Dec. 7, 2011, at her residence, surrounded by her loving family.
She was born July 26, 1943, in Toledo, the daughter of Florence (Mosher) and Frederick Siglow, who preceded her in death. She married Lawrence Kidd, and he survives in Columbus.
