Beverly J. Podoll, 86, formerly of New Bremen and a resident of the Otterbein of St. Marys, died at 7:30 a.m., Monday, Sept. 26, 2011, at the Otterbein of St. Marys.
She was born on Oct. 4, 1924, in West Salem, Wis., the daughter of Theodora (Storandt) and Lawrence F. Young. On Dec. 23, 1945 she married Russell H. Podoll, who died on Oct. 22, 2007.
Survivors include her children; Roger Podoll of Wautoma, Wis., Mary Pitroff of Hansville, Wash., Randy Podoll of Quincy, Mich., Kay Sanderlin, of Wasilla, Alaska, Ned Podoll, of St. Marys, and Sue Lord, of Bellbrook.
Melba M. Myers, 82, of Wapakoneta died 1 p.m. Monday, Sept. 26, 2011, at Wapakoneta Manor Nursing Home.
She was born on Oct. 2, 1928 in Clay Township to Gertrude A. (Keis) and Charles W. Myers who preceded her in death.
She is survived by sister, Mabel (Carl) Shaffer, of Jackson Center; a brother, Gail (Carolyn) Myers, of Uniopolis; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by three brothers, Carl, Clay, and Roger Myers; and a sister, Ruth Miars.
Orva C. Smallwood 94, of Wapakoneta, died at 3 p.m. Monday, Sept. 26, 2011, at Cridersville Otterbein.
She was born March 26, 1917, in Wapakoneta to Grace (Huffer) and Orval Cannon who preceded her in death. In August of 1935 she married John L. Smallwood, who died in September of 1985.

Melba M. Myers 82, of Wapakoneta died at 1 p.m. Monday, Sept. 26, 2011, at Wapakoneta Manor.Â

Cythia A. Nester, 54, of Elida, died at 9 a.m., Monday, Sept. 25, 2011, at her residence.
She was born Oct. 17, 1956, to Joy (Cunningham) and Marvin Van Blagran in Lima.
Her father lives in Pennsylvania, and her mother is deceased. On July 6, 1996, she was united in marriage to Donald Nester of Elida.
Dorothy E. (Hemmert) Frantz, 95, 305 Westview Drive, Piqua, died at 3:10 pm Sunday, Sept. 25, 2011, at her residence.
She was born in Fryburg on April 26, 1916, to the late Elizabeth (Gerstner) and John N. Gutmann. Dorothy lived in St. Mary’s and moved to Piqua following her marriage in 1937 to Clifford A. Hemmert, who preceded her in death in 1951. She then moved to Sidney in 1962 when she married Louis Frantz, who preceded her in death in 2004.

Anna H. Milstead, 91, formerly of 29 East Lake Drive, Wapakoneta, died at 6:40 a.m. on Friday, Sept. 23, 2011, at the Auglaize Acres, Wapa-koneta.
She was born on March 8, 1920 near Botkins, the daughter of Henrietta (Roettger) and Frederick Egbert. On Nov. 23, 1944, she married Mathias “Cy†Milstead who died on July 16, 2000.
Survivors include her brother and sister-in-law Frederick and Louise Egbert and many nieces and nephews.

Alberta June Shaw, 90, of Lima,, died at 4:50 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 21, 2011at her residence.
She was born March 8, 1921, near Buckland, the daughter of Ollie Thomas and Harold C. Ramga. On Nov. 11, 1939, she married Robert Eugene Shaw, who died Oct. 30, 2000.
Surviving are three sons, Larry Shaw, of Newark, Richard Shaw, of Lima, Herbert Shaw, of Lima; and three daughters, Ruth Tolle, of Dacula, Ga., Roberta Graessle of Antioch, Clif., and Harriet Slaughter, of Concord, N.C.
Michael E. ‘Mike’ Coleman Sr., 65, of Lima, died at 8:28 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 20, 2011, at St. Rita’s Medical Center in Lima.
He was born June 9, 1946 in Columbus, the son of Mary Emogene (Lansing) and Harold Eugene Coleman. On Sept. 30, 1985, he married Linda J. Sudlow, and she survives in Lima.
Also surviving are three sons, Mike Coleman, Jr., Pat E. Bolling Jr. and Shelby Coleman; and four daughters: Regina Coleman, Monica Dulebohn, Janelle Coleman and Lorette Bolling.
