Lester E. Koch, 77, of rural Wapakoneta, died 7:40 p.m., Monday, Sept. 12, 2011, at Wapakoneta Manor, following a more than four year courageous battle with cancer.
He was born April 13, 1934, in Auglaize County, the son of Leona (Elsass) and William Koch, who preceded him in death. On June 13, 1954, he married Mary E. Rausch, and she survives.
Wanda L. âJeanâ Drees, 90, of St. Marys, died at 5:06 p.m. Monday, Sept. 12, 2011, at Joint Township District Memorial Hospital in St. Marys.
She was born Aug. 14, 1921, in Washington Township, Auglaize County, the daughter of Pearl (Fryer) and Harve Russell, who preceded her in death. In 1939, she married Clarence âShortyâ Meyers, and he died Aug. 25, 1975. On Dec. 29, 1990, she married Henry B. Drees, and he survives in St. Marys.
Linda M. White, 45, of Cridersville died at 12:19 p.m., Sunday, Sept. 11 at St. Ritaâs Medical Center.
She was born June 4, 1966 in Bellefontaine, to Edna M. (Branham) and Dennis L. Faulder, and they survive in Jackson Center.
She married Randy White on June 4, 1982, and he survives in Cridersville.
Sylvan J. âJakeâ Paul, age 88, of 18950 Kettlersville Road, New Knoxville, Ohio, passed away Sept. 11, 2011 at 9:37 p.m. at the Joint Township District Memorial Hospital in St. Marys, Ohio.
He was born on March 19, 1923, in Botkins, the son of the late Thelma (Zimpfer) and Edison Paul. On Aug. 11, 1951, he married Betty Snapp, who survives.
Jake is also survived by his son, Ron Paul of Botkins; a daughter, Renee (Jim) McGriff, of Milford; a brother; Don Paul, of Orange County, Calif., and a sister, Carol Singelton, of Wapakoneta.
He was preceded in death by one brother and one sister.
Ned âBudâ Gaylord Burden III, 21, died at 8:25 p.m., Monday, Sept. 12, 2011, at his home surrounded by his family after a valiant battle with cancer.
He was born Dec. 9, 1989, in Bellefontaine, to Christina (Webb) and Ned Burden II. His father and stepmother Machelle survive in Sidney and his mother survives in Lakeview.
Debra âDebâ Boday, 53, died at 1:45 a.m. Monday, Sept. 12, 2011, at Lima Memorial Hospital.
She was born Feb. 11, 1958, the daughter of Ann (Dulebohn) and Dale Miller. Her father and stepmother, Beth, survive in Wapakoneta, and she was preceded in death by her mother. On Sept. 16, 1978, in Lima, she married James âJimâ Boday, and he survives in Waynesfield.

Gail L. Becker, 89, of rural Spencerville, died at 6:20 p.m., Thursday, Sept. 8, 2011, at her daughterâs home in Elida.
She was born Jan. 30, 1922, in St. Marys, the daughter of Lulu (Seuver) and Harry Whetstone, who preceded her in death. On Jan. 13, 1941, she married Owen O. Becker, and he died Nov. 20, 1990.
Surviving are three sons, Gary Becker, of Celina, Bill Becker, of Spencerville, and Randy Becker, of Bluffton; and a daughter, Debbie Bowman, Elida.
She was preceded in death by two infant sons, Ronald and David Becker.
Mary H. Helmstetter, 87, 603 W. South St. St. Marys, died at 9 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 8, 2011, at Joint Township District Memorial Hospital in St. Marys.
She was born July 5, 1924, in St. Marys, the daughter of Helen (Werts) and August Wieser. On Aug. 9, 1947, in St. Marys, she married Ferd A Helmstetter, who died Oct. 31, 1982.
Surviving are three sons, James Helmstetter, of Pittsburgh, Thomas Helmstetter, of Holland, Mich., and David Helmstetter of Charleston, W. Va.; and a daughter, Kathy Crosiar, of Springfield.

Myrtle Mae Lietz, 92, formerly of 601 S. Main St., St .Marys, and a resident of the St. Marys Living Center, died at 11:25 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 7, 2011, at the St. Marys Living Center.
She was born May 6, 1919, in Clay Township, Augalize County, the daughter of Nancy (Brackney) and Osborn Dudgeon. On Dec. 16, 1939, she married Ned Lietz and he preceded her in death on July 21, 1999.
Mary Helmstetter, 87, of St. Marys, died Thursday, Sept. 8, 2011, at Joint Township District Memorial Hospital in St. Marys.
