Ruth M. Mann, 82, of Jackson Center, passed away at 10:30 p.m. Monday, Oct. 3, 2011, at the Pavilion in Sidney.
She was born May 15, 1929, in Maplewood, the daughter of the late Norma Marie (Hodge) and Floyd Ray Zimmerman. On Feb. 24, 1961, she married Harry O. Mann and he preceded her in death on March 8, 2003.
Also preceding her in death were a sister; Naomi Daniels, and three brothers, Nevin, Eugene and Levon Zimmerman.

Vanessa Kayana Lopez, three-weeks old, 120 Villa Nova Blvd. St. Marys, died Friday, Sept. 30, 2011 at Toledo Children’s Hospital.
She was born Sept. 7, 2011 in Toledo, to Hector and Gerri (Bonifas) Lopez.
Survivors are her parents; a sister, Leticia Lopez, of St. Marys; and a brother, Diego Lopez, of St. Marys.
He was preceded in death by two brothers, Hector Lopez, Jr. and Balentine Lopez and a sister, Natalie Lopez.
Services are at 7 p.m. Thursday at Miller Funeral Home in St. Marys, with the Rev. Judy Ball officiating.
Friends may call from 5 to 7 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
October 3rd
William H. “Billy Bob” Doering, 66, of rural Wapakoneta, died at 1:15 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 1, 2011, at St. Rita’s Medical Center in Lima.
He was born April 18, 1945, in Lima, the son of Norma (Cook) and Harold Doering, who preceded him in death. On June 24, 1988, he married Sheila Nichols, and she survives.

Elmer H. Will, 88, of New Bremen, died Friday, Sept. 30, 2011 at 5:39 a.m. at the St. Rita’s Medical Center, in Lima.
He was born on Jan. 4, 1923 in Carthagena. He is the son of Ida F. (Kaup) and Ferd D. Will.
On Aug. 29, 1953 he married Lela J. Bauer, who survives in Minster.
Also surviving is his daughter Peggy (Mark) Kitzmiller, of New Bremen.
A Mass of Christian burial will be on Monday, Oct. 3, 2011 at 10:30 a.m. at the Church of the Holy Redeemer, in New Bremen, with the Rev. Thomas Mannebach officiating. Burial will be in the German Protestant Cemetery near New Bremen.
Mary Kathryn Place Baker, 93, of Wapakoneta, passed away 6:03 p.m., Thursday, Sept. 29, 2011. She was born Jan. 14, 1918, the first daughter of Stanley B. and Lela (Graessle) Place, who preceded her in death.
On Sept. 27, 1939, she married Robert F. Baker, and he survives in Wapakoneta.
Anna Louise (Fisher) Koch, 101, died peacefully at her home Thursday, Sept. 29, 2011, on Casey Key, Fla.
She was born on November 23, 1909, on her grandfather’s farm on Fisher Road, north of Wapakoneta, the daughter of Anna Catherine (Stein) and Charles William Fisher, founders of Fisher Cheese Co., which at one time was Wapakoneta’s largest employer. On July 7, 1932, she married her friend and former high school classmate George Henry Koch.
Mary Baker, 93, of Wapakoneta, died Thursday evening, Sept. 29, 2011, at Wapakoneta Manor.
Arrangements are incomplete at the Bayliff & Eley Funeral Home in Wapakoneta.
Douglas E. Weaver, 57, 15784 Koenig Road in St. Marys, died Sunday Sept. 25, 2011 at University Hospital in Cincinnati.
He was born May 28, 1954, in Coldwater, to Mary Jane (Monnier) and Elmer Weaver.
On Jan. 13, 1979 in St. Marys, he married Donna Jean Wogaman, who survives.
He is survived by his parents; a daughter, Cindy Jones, of Sidney; and three sons Mark Sharp, of New Bremen, Mike Weaver, of Spencerville, and Keith Weaver, of Cincinnati.
Helen Hazel (Swink) Smith, 100, 1011 Kensington Lane, Celina, died at 4 p.m. Monday, Sept. 26, 2011, at the Miller House in Celina.
She was born Feb. 16, 1911, in Wapakoneta, the daughter of the late Mary (Varner) and Harry Swink. On Aug. 25, 1933 she married Gerald William Smith, who died in 1982.
Surviving are a daughter, Marilyn Sue Locke, of Mansfield; two grandchildren Kyle (Kelly) Coe, of Findlay, and Kami (Jerry) Minor, of Rockford, Ill.; four great-grandchildren Kira Coe and Kaleb Coe both, of Findlay, Garald Cress, of Cridersville, and Jimi Bennett, of Rockford, Ill.

Constance J. Bruns-Enicks, formerly of St. Marys, died Friday, September 23, 2011 in Zephyrhills, Fla.
She was born March 21, 1941 in Lenore, W. Va., the daughter of Emma (Bevins) and Nelson and Hall. On Aug. 22, 1983, in Greenville, she married Franklin O. Enicks, who died June 30, 2004.
Surviving are two sons, John Bruns, of St. Marys, Dan Bruns, of Zephyrhills, Fla.; and a daughter, Donna Albers, of New Bremen.
Services are at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at Miller Funeral Home in St. Marys. Burial will follow at Burge Cemetery in Montezuma.
