Robert Rudell “Bob” Bennett, 75, of Wapakoneta, went to his heavenly home on Oct. 10, 2011. He died at the Wapakoneta Manor after an extended illness.
He was born July 31, 1936, in Indiana County near Gipsy, Pa., the eldest son of the late Florence Edna (Henry) and Everett Rudell Bennett. On July 21, 1956, he married Fern Carpenter and lived most of his married life in Darke County moving to Wapakoneta in 2009. His wife survives.

Alice M. Schwer, 82, of Wapakoneta, died at 5:17 a.m. today, Oct. 11, 2011, at St. Rita’s Medical Center in Lima.
Arrangements are incomplete at Schlosser Funeral Home and Cremation Services in Wapakoneta.
Robert R. Bennett, 75, of Wapakoneta, died at 7:20 p.m. Monday, Oct. 10, 2011, at Wapakoneta Manor.
Friends may call from 4 to 6 p.m. Wednesday at Bayliff & Eley Funeral Home in Wapakoneta.

Aaliyah Baker, of Harrod, stillborn, died Sunday, Oct. 9, 2011, at Lima Memorial Health Systems.
She is survived by her parents, BreAnna (Hawk) and Tyler D. Baker, of Harrod.
Private graveside services will be held at Salem Cemetery in Westminster.
Arrangements are being handled by Armentrout Funeral Home in Waynesfield.

M. Marjorie Martin, 86, 14256 River Road, St. Marys, died at 12:05 p.m. Friday, October 7, 2011 at Celina Manor Nursing Home.
She was born December 11, 1924 in St. Marys, the daughter of Ruth (Smith) and Merrill “Bill” Miller.
She was preceded in death by two sons John Martin and Larry Martin; and two daughters, Sheryl Perry and Connie Martin.
Services are at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at Zion Lutheran Church in St. Marys, with the Rev. Bill Maki officiating. Burial will follow at the Elm Grove Cemetery in St. Marys.
Klor A. Newland, 70, of Wapakoneta, died at 3:26 p.m. Friday, Oct. 7, 2011, at St. Rita’s Medical Center in Lima.
He was born Dec. 28, 1940, in Lima, the son of Leona C. Rimer and Harry Washington Newland. Both parents are deceased. On Oct. 15, 1988, he married Sandra Joe Foote, who survives in Wapakoneta.
Gertrude (Trudy) Young, W. Cisco Rd., Sidney, died at 10:15 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 8, 2011, at the Dorothy Love Retirement Community in Sidney.
She was born July 12, 1935, in Salyersville, Ky., the daughter of the late Victoria (Lykins) and William “Willie” Dunn. On Aug. 31, 1956, she married Walter Young and he died Dec. 15, 2006.
She is survived by two sons, Steve (Diana) Young, of Sidney, and Dave (Tammy) Young, of Wapakoneta; four grandchildren, Steve, Randy, Taylor and Madison; and four great-grandchildren, Zack, Mason, Ethan and Aryanna.

Klor A. Newland, 70, of Wapakoneta, died at 3:26 p.m. Friday, Oct. 7, 2011, at St. Rita’s Medical Center in Lima.

Viola M. (Kinninger) VanSkiver, formerly of Maria Stein, died at 2:55 a.m. Thursday, October 6, 2011, at Otterbein St. Marys, where she had been a resident for over six years.
She was born July 19, 1923, in Uno, the daughter of Emma (Varno) and Harry Kinninger. On Sept. 27, 1937, in Minster, she married Randall K. VanSkiver at St. Augustine Church in Minster.
She attended schools in St. Patrick and Minster, graduating from Minster High School in 1942. In the late 1940s, she lived in Dayton with her two older sisters and worked at the National Cash Register Company.
LaVida “Rusty” B. Grimm, 90, formerly of 400 E. Warren Street, Celina, died Thursday Oct. 6, 2011, at the Gardens of Celina.
She was born June 9, 1921, in La Carne, the daughter of Gertrude (Cunningham) and the Rev. Gaile Van Tilbrough.
Surviving are two daughters, Peggy D. Wheeler, of Celina, Marilyn C. (Edward) Pfister of Huntertown, Ind.; and a son, Rick A. Grimm. of Franklin.
She was preceded in death by a husband Robert “Lloyd” Grimm.
