Jay J. Lenhart, 42, of Shadyside, Pa., died Tuesday, Oct. 18, 2011, after a battle with cancer.
He was the son of Norma (Gene) Gill, of Wapakoneta, and Thomas (Glenice) Lenhart, Sr., of Sidney.
A celebration of life will be held Saturday from 1 to 4 p.m. in the ballroom side at the Eagles Lodge in Wapakoneta.
Donations may be made to Gilda’s Club in Pittsburgh, Pa. Arrangements are being handled by Soxman Funeral Homes Ltd. in Pittsburgh.
Lourine T. Posey, 73, of Defiance, died Saturday, Nov. 5, 2011, at Hospice of Northwest Ohio, in Toledo.
She was born Oct. 4, 1938, the daughter of Florence Kowalski and John Voss, of Henry County. They preceded her in death.
She married Billy A. Posey on March 12, 1960, and he preceded her in death on Sept. 25, 1997.
Also preceding her in death were a son, Patrick Posey, and a daughter, Sherry Posey.
Doris M. Frey, 73, of Lima, died at 9:58 p.m. Nov. 5, 2011, at her residence.
She was born Nov. 15, 1937, in Clay Township, Auglaize County, the daughter of Cleo (Lillard) and Howard Shoffstall. On Feb. 5, 1957, she married James L. Frey, who survives.
Carol A. Kohnen, 52, of Centerville, passed away peacefully on Friday Nov. 4, 2011.
Ivan C. Klopfenstein, 76, of Wapakoneta, died at 11:58 p.m. Monday, Oct. 31, 2011, at St. Rita’s Medical Center in Lima.
He was born Nov. 2, 1934, in Jackson Township, Shelby County, the son of Caroline M. (Kahler) and Christian A. Klopfenstein, who preceded him in death.
Surviving are two sons, Terry (Mary Carson) Klopfenstein, of Wapakoneta, Christopher (Angela) Klopfenstein, of Wapakoneta; five grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; four sisters, Erma Wilt, of Sidney, Eileen Falor, of West Liberty, Martha Spicer, of Troy, and Florence Shipman, of Sidney.

George Budd ‘Pete’ Winegardner, 88, of Lima, died at 4:25 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 2, 2011,at Lima Memorial Health Systems.
He was born Aug. 8, 1923 in Allen County, to Nellie Eleanor Albrecht and Lester Cole Winegardner. On April 23, 1943, he married Mary Jane Frisinger and she preceded him in death.
Surviving are two daughters, Karen Jane Kidd, of Kenton, and Kathryn Louise ‘Kathy’ Hites, of Lima.

Jean M. Lewis, 73, died suddenly after a brave fight against a very aggressive cancer on Nov. 3, 2011 at St. Rita’s Medical Center in Lima. She had recently returned to Bluffton to enjoy her retirement.
She was born on Aug. 30, 1938, the daughter of Catherine and Charles Bernard Lewis Bockrath.
Dale Eversman, 30, of rural New Bremen, died Thursday, Nov. 3, 2011 at his residence.
Arrangements are incomplete at Miller Funeral Homes in St. Marys.
Lawrence M. Laveen, 73, 11675 Wapak-Freyburg Road, Wapakoneta, formerly of Sidney, died at 8:34 a.m. Wednesday, Nov., 2, 2011, at St. Rita’s Medical Center in Lima.
He was born on Dec. 1, 1937, in Columbus, the son of the late Virginia (Sexauer) and Daniel “Pat†H. LaVeen. On July 20, 1958, he was married to Emily Ann Cunningham. On Nov. 6, 1969, he was married to Della Marie Kindle. On March 15, 1972, he was married to Marjorie Johnson. On Oct. 21, 1978, he was married to Darlene Hefner. On Dec. 19, 1988, he married Carole (Warner) Eversman, who survives him.
