Victor McKinney, 63, of St. Marys, died Monday, March 5, 2012 at Golden Living Center â€“ Valley.
Arrangements are incomplete with the Miller â€“ Long & Folk Funeral Home in St. Marys.
Leroy A. Frankenberg, 83, 2364 Armstrong Drive, Sidney, died at 7:02 p.m. Friday, March 2, 2012, at Fair Haven Shelby County Home in Sidney.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at Holy Angels Catholic Church in Sidney.
Friends may call from 9 to 10 a.m. Tuesday at Salm-McGill and Tangeman Funeral Home in Sidney.
Althea S. Ruedebusch, 90, of Wapakoneta, died at 11:30 p.m., Sunday, March 4, 2012, at The Gardens, Wapakoneta.
She was born April 13, 1921, in Wapakoneta, the daughter of Lillia (Weifenbach) and Eugene Slattery, who preceded her in death. On Sept. 6, 1952, she married Norman F. Ruedebusch, and he died March 22, 1999.
Paul Kohler, 89, of Wapakoneta, passed away at 5:45 p.m. Friday, March 2, 2012.
He was born Oct. 21, 1922 in Auglaize County, to Clara (Puthoff) and August “Gus” Kohler, who preceded him in death. On April 17, 1948, he married Clara R. Kreitzer, who survives in Wapakoneta.
Also surviving are a daughter, Barb (Jim) Price, of Wapakoneta; and numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by a brother, Herbert “Herbie” Kohler, and a sister, Anna Kohler.
Willetta Goodin, 61, of Waynesfield, passed away Thursday, March 1, 2012 at Wapakoneta Manor.
She was born on Nov. 7, 1949 in Middlesborough, Ky. to the late Zelma Brown and James Goodin. She is also preceded in death by a sister Charlotte Goodin.
She is survived by a son, James (Kellie) Goodin, of Waynesfield; three grandchildren, James II, Zackary, and Nickolas; and three aunts, Marcella Owens and Bessie Brooks, both of Cridersville; Norma (Coolidge) Smith of Barbersville, Ky.
Ruth Ann Kruse, 75, 2901 Fair Road, Sidney, passed away at 5:25 a.m. Tuesday, Feb. 28, 2012 at Fair Haven Shelby County Home.
She was born on June 4, 1936, in Greenville, the daughter of the late Hazel (Hill) and Ralph Hunt. On April 8, 1962, she married Lowell Kruse, who preceded her in death March 13, 2009.
Mrs. Kruse was a 1954 graduate of Greenville High School. She worked as a former office assistant. She was a member of the Anna United Methodist Church, where she formerly taught Catechism. She was associated with and supported the Humane Society, and leaves behind her beloved cats.
Rodney A. Whetstone, 48, of Wapakoneta, died Monday morning, Feb. 27, 2012, at his brotherâ€™s home in Okeana.
He was born Jan. 7, 1964, in Lima, the son of Connie (Link) and Robert Whetstone, who preceded him in death.
Surviving are a daughter, Ginny (Thomas Anderson) Rohrer, of Wapakoneta; a step-son, Jaye Helton, Lima; a granddaughter, Kendall Anderson; two brothers, Tony (Brenda) Rohrer, of Okeana, and Jason Rohrer, of Mulberry Grove, Ill.
Margaret L. Rider, 80, 160 Watercrest Drive, St. Marys, died at 11:05 p.m. Monday, Feb. 27, 2012, at her residence.
She was born Sept. 12, 1931, in Rossburg, the daughter of Edith (Compton) and Jesse Ross. On June 27, 1953, at Shookâ€™s Chapel in Darke County she married Allen L. Rider, who survives.
Also surviving are a son Jeffrey Rider, of Ansonia; and a daughter Cynthia Coats, of St. Marys.
Services are at 11 a.m. Friday at Miller Funeral Home in St. Marys, with the Rev. Mark Foor officiating. Burial will follow at Elm Grove Cemetery in St. Marys.
Sue Thompson, 73, 118 Ohio St., St. Marys, died at 12:10 a.m. Tuesday, Feb. 28, 2012, at the Lima Manor Nursing Home.
She was born Aug. 20, 1938, in Indianapolis, the daughter of Thelma (Kent) and Clarence Thompson.
Services are at 11 a.m. Monday at the Miller Funeral Home in St. Marys, with the Rev. Bill Drummond officiating. Burial will follow at Elm Grove Cemetery.
Friends may call from 2 to 7 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
