Richard C. “Dick” Fahncke, 86, of Wapakoneta, died at 3:25 p.m. Sunday, May 25, 2014, at his residence surrounded by his family.
He was born on Jan. 25, 1928 in Celina, to Otto Martin Fahncke & Eda Christine Kable who preceded him in death.
On Sept. 2, 1950, he married Rosalyn (Rosie) M. Uppenkamp, and she survives in Wapakoneta.
David A. Steinbrunner, 32, of Wapakoneta died Thursday, May 22, 2014 at his residence.
He was born on Sept. 4, 1981 in Lima, to Anthony R. Steinbrunner & Cathy L. (Rick) Rupert. His father survives in Elida and his mother in Pandora.
On Sept. 16, 2000 he married Kathryn M. Fosnaugh and she survives in Wapakoneta.
Florience “Dick” R. Dicke, 93, formerly of 15597 Koenig Road in rural St. Marys, died 4:05 p.m. Wednesday, May 21, 2014 at Auglaize Acres Nursing Home in Wapakoneta.
He was born May 21, 1921 in Mercer Co., OH to Florience and Anna (Moeller) Dicke, Sr.
He first married Lorine Duncan, who preceded him in death. He later married Gertrude “Trudy” Hibbs, who survives.
Helen Janelle (Jones) Mesarvey, 93, entered her heavenly home on Sunday, May 18, 2014. Janelle was born in Gutman, Ohio on Sept. 23, 1920, and resided in Springfield, Ohio. She was preceded in death by her husband, Virgil, and daughter, Cynthia Garrett.
Judith Sue “Judy” (Dearing) Fronczak, 71, of Troy, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Monday, May 19, 2014, at Koester Pavilion in Troy. She was born on May 7, 1943, in Shawnee Township, Ohio, to the late Theodore Elvin and Mary Catherine (McCune) Dearing. On Dec. 6, 1986, she married Wayne B. Fronczak. He survives.
Theodore A. ‚ÄúTed‚ÄĚ Lea, 60, of Wapakoneta, died at 9:48 a.m. Saturday, May 17, 2014, at the Cleveland Clinic, after a battle with cancer.¬†He was born on Jan. 27, 1954, in Fremont, Ohio, to Harlan L. and Peggy (Yoh) Lea.¬†His father preceded him in death and his mother survives in Largo, Fla. On July 30, 1979, he married Terri L. Frey who survives in Waynesfield.
Daniel Albert Konst, 52, of Waynesfield, died at 7:55 a.m., Thursday, May 15, 2014, at St. Rita‚Äôs Medical Center, in Lima. He was born April 11, 1962, to Robert and Judith Maus Konst. Both parents survive in Waynesfield.
Daniel had worked at Logan Recycling. He graduated from Waynesfield High School and High Point Vocational School in 1980, and was an avid hunter and shooter.
Edith M. Rivers, 89, of Otterbein-Cridersville, died 10:28 a.m., Monday, May 12, 2014, at Lima Memorial Health System. She had resided at Otterbein since Oct. 1997, after living in New Mexico and Colorado for over 50 years. She was born Sept. 16, 1924, in Wapakoneta, the daughter William T. & Emma C. (Schlegel) Frey-Dunifon, who preceded her in death. On Sept. 23, 1959, she married Robert R. Rivers of Estes Park, Colo., and he died March 31, 1993.
Juliet R. ‚ÄúJulie‚ÄĚ Kidd, 88, of Wapakoneta, died at 3:20 p.m. Monday, May 12, 2014, at her home surrounded by her family. She was born on Sept. 6, 1925, in Glandorf, Ohio, to Charles & Frances (Deters) Ellerbrock who preceded her in death. She married John Kidd and he passed away on Sept. 5, 1967.
Gerald C. "Jerry" Doorley, 84, of Westerville, died Friday, May 9, 2014, at St. Ann's Hospital.
He retired from Producers Livestock Association. He was a member of St. Paul Catholic Church for 30 years and most recently, St. Matthew Catholic Church and Knights of Columbus. He was a U.S. Army veteran of the Korean War.
He is survived by his children, Karen Doorley, Patrick Doorley, Joseph Doorley and Kevin (Manda) Doorley; grandchildren, Jill (Doorley) Zender, Joyce, Spencer, Jake and Tyler Doorley; great-grandson, Liam Zender; brother, Mark Doorley; many nieces and nephews.
