Robert Eshleman, 53, 817 Hackney St., St. Marys, died at 6:02 p.m. Wednesday, April 3, 2013, at Lima Memorial Health System.
He was born May 4, 1959, in St. Marys, to Marilyn (Kohnen) and Stanferd Eshleman.
Robert U. ‘Bob’ Preston, 83, of rural Alger, died at 4:21 p.m. Tuesday, April 2, 2013, at Lima Memorial Health Systems, due to complications following open- heart surgery.
He was born Jan. 20, 1930, in the home he lives in today, the son of Merle E. (Crowe) and William M. Preston, who preceded him in death. On July 15, 1951, he married Mary K. Clark, enjoying 61 years of marriage, and she survives.

Donald J. “Don†Lindeman, 77, of Delphos, died at 2:35 p.m. Monday, April 1, 2013, at Van Wert Inpatient Hospice Center in Van Wert.
Don was born Dec. 4, 1935, in Lima, to Bertha (Pohlman) and Joseph E. Lindeman. On June 8, 1955, he married Lorene Hoehn, and she survives in Delphos.
Garry Cummins, 67, of Harrod, died at 12:24 p.m. Monday, April 1, 2013, in a truck accident.
He was born Oct. 25, 1945, in Bellefontaine, to the late Ida Ruth (Davis) Carl David Cummins. On Oct. 11, 1985, he married Kathryn Kay Harshbarger, who survives.
Jim A. Herbst, 46, of Portland, Tenn., formerly of Wapakoneta, died Sunday, March 31, 2013, at his residence.
He was born Feb. 23, 1967, in Lima, the son of Joan (Wilson) and Jimmy Herbst. Joan and Jim Maitlen survive in Ohio and Jimmy and Nancy Herbst survive in Tennessee.

Sue A. Fox, 72, of Wapakoneta, went to be with The Lord at 11:50 a.m. Easter Sunday, March 31, 2013, at Van Wert Inpatient Hospice Center in Van Wert.
She was born Oct. 13, 1940, in Dayton, the daughter of Martha (Kipker) and James Williams. Her mother survives in Land O’Lakes, Fla., and her father is deceased. Sue graduated from Olivet Nazarene University in Kankakee, Ill. in May of 1962. On Aug. 18, 1962, she married the Rev. Larry Fox, and he survives in Wapakoneta. She was actively involved with him in his pastoral ministry for 50 years.
Candace M. “Candy†Newland, 41, of Waynesfield, left us to be with the Lord at 5:10 p.m. Easter Sunday, March 31, 2013, at Lima Memorial Health System.
She was born April 20, 1971, in Lima, the daughter of Charoletteann (Howland) and Arnold R. Tippie III. Her mother & step-father, Robert Moye, survive in Waynesfield, and her father is deceased. On Feb. 16, 1994, she married Scott A. Newland Sr., and he survives.
Jack H. Tidd, 74, of Montra, passed away on Easter Sunday evening, March 31, 2013, after a very courageous battle with cancer at home surrounded by his family.
Jack was born on May 15, 1938, in Jackson Center, the son of the late Violet (Miller) and Robert Tidd. On Dec. 1, 1962, he married Margaret E. Schumann. During their 50 years of marriage they had many great memories of traveling and spending time with family and friends.

Sue Fox, 72, of Wapakoneta, died at 11:51 a.m. Sunday, March 31, 2013, at Van Wert Inpatient Hospice Center in Van Wert.
