Marjorie Jones, 87, 902 Jackson St., St. Marys, died at 10:54 p.m. Saturday, April 20, 2013, at the Briarwood Manor Nursing Home in Coldwater.
She was born March 23, 1926, in Moulton, the daughter of Nora (Hines) and Grant Tester. On Sept. 1, 1946, she married Joseph Jones, and he preceded her in death on Aug. 14, 1999.
She is survived by four children, Ron J. (Carol) Jones, of New Bremen, Gregory (Pam) Jones, of St. Marys, Debra (Rees) McKee, of St. Marys, and Corrine (Dennis) Craft, of St. Marys; nine grandchildren; eleven great-grandchildren; and a sister, Betty Vogel, of St. Marys.
Mary K. Wolfe, 70, 1905 Cheshire Drive, St. Marys, died unexpectedly Thursday, April 18, 2013, at her residence.
She was born Jan. 7, 1943, in St. Marys, to Mary (McClain) and Evert Adams, who preceded her in death. On Aug. 22, 1964, at Holy Rosary Catholic Church, in St. Marys, she married Thomas I. Wolfe, who died Aug. 7, 2012.
Orin J. Roettger, 89, of St. Marys, passed away peacefully at 12:15 a.m. Sunday, April 21, 2013, at Joint Township District Memorial Hospital in St. Marys.
He was born Sept. 17, 1923, in New Bremen, the son of Luetta (Dammeyer) and Clarence Roettger, who preceded him in death. On Oct. 3, 1942, he married Lois Boroff, they were married for 69 years, she survives at the residence.

Jeffrey Lynn Valenti, 54, of Cridersville, died at 8:05 a.m. Friday, April 19, 2013, at home surrounded by his family.
He was born Nov. 4, 1958, in Lima, the son of Helena (Ritt) and Louis “Bernie” Valenti. His mother survives outside of Cridersville. He married Kelly Gilbert, who is preceded in death.
He is also survived by his siblings, Louis “Bernie” (Kris) Valenti, of Muncie, Ind., Dennis (Kathy) Valenti, of Cridersville, Thomas (Kellie) Valenti, of Cridersville, Kathy Valenti, of Cridersville, and Michael (Angie) Valenti of Farmersville; and many nieces and nephews.
The Rev. Abram V. Carter, 85, of New York, formerly of Waynesfield, went to see the Lord on Wednesday, April 10, 2013, surrounded by his family and sweetheart of more than 60 years, Mary Lou (Justus).
He was born June 9, 1927, in Waynesfield, to the late Hattie (Miller) and Everett Carter.
He is survived by a brother, Merle (Helene) Carter, of Waynesfield; and a sister Lucy (Rex) Claybaugh, of Cridersville.

George Neil McElroy Sr., 88, of Lima, died at 7:44 p.m. Saturday, April 13, at St. Rita’s Medical Center in Lima.
He was born Jan. 26, 1925, in Spencerville, to Cecil Danner and Nathan McElroy Sr. On June 21, 1946, he married Neta Jayne Wikel, and she preceded him in death on Aug. 26, 1987. On June 7, 1993, he married Emma Jean Spayd, and she survives in Lima.
Helen L. “Dolly” Niese, 89, of Wapakoneta, died at 2 p.m. Sunday, April 14, 2013, at her residence surrounded by her loving family.
She was born Jan. 12, 1924, in Wapakoneta, the daughter of Lenora (Ruck) and David Orphal, who preceded her in death. On Aug. 24, 1946, she married Gilbert Niese, and he died March 18, 1993.
Eric C. Johnson, 50, 06761 Auglaize County Road 33A, St. Marys, died at 8:45 p.m. Thursday, April 11, 2013, at Lima Memorial Health System.
He was born July 14, 1962, in Bar Harbor, Maine, to Joyce E. (Van Schoyck) and William F. Johnson, who survive in St. Marys
Also surviving are a daughter, Alena Johnson, of Wapakoneta; two brothers William “Skip” (Karla) Johnson, of St. Marys, and Brian (Amy) Johnson, of St. Marys; a sister, Jenniffer (Mark) Sandberg, of St. Marys; a former wife Jennifer Furr, of Wapakoneta; and several nieces and nephews.

Patricia D. Yahl, 67, 117 S. Wayne St., St. Marys, died at 10:25 p.m. Saturday, April 13, 2013, at her residence following a courageous battle with cancer.
Pat was born July 15, 1945, in Allen County, to Ruth (Rupert) and Mitch Dyer. On Oct. 17, 1964, at Holy Rosary Catholic Church in St. Marys, she married Robert Yahl, who survives.
