March 13th
John L. Sudman, 61, of Wapakoneta, died at 5:01 p.m. Saturday, March 9, 2013, at St. Rita’s Medical Center in Lima.
He was born Dec. 16, 1931, in Celina, to Martha (Young) and Howard Sudman, who preceded him in death. His father passed away when he was very young, and his mother later married Homer DeArmond, who has also passed. On July 7, 1979, he married Diana (Saintignon) Sudman, who survives in Wapakoneta.
David L. Britt, 66, of Jackson Center, passed away at 9:31 p.m. Saturday, March 9, 2013, at Kindred Hospital in Lima.
He was born Feb. 6, 1947, in Sidney, to the late Clara (Brown) and Claude Britt. On Jan. 27, 1968, he married the former Sharon Jerviss, and she preceded him in death on May 20, 2001.

Virgil E. Beam, 76, of Wapakoneta, died at 1:13 a.m. Monday, March 11, 2103, at his residence.

Mildred F. Steele, 86, of Wapakoneta, died at 4:33 a.m. Saturday, March 9, 2013, at Joint Township District Memorial Hospital in St. Marys.
She was born Nov. 17, 1926, in Pineville, Ky., the daughter of Sarah (Partin) and Luther Evans, who preceded her in death. On Nov. 25, 1953, she married Earl “Bud” Gannon, and he died Sept. 9, 1961.
Irene I. Lunz, 90, of Wapakoneta, died at 9:55 p.m. Friday, March 8, 2013, at Joint Township District Memorial Hospital in St. Marys.
She was born June 12, 1922, in New Bremen, the daughter of Lydia Elizabeth (Schneider) and Glendor Charles Jung, who preceded her in death. On June 12, 1946, she married Elmer A. Lunz, who died July 24, 1973.
Surviving are a daughter, Diane E. Lunz, of Wapakoneta; a son, Donald R. Lunz, of Ottawa; two sisters-in-law, Louise Jung, of Wapakoneta, and Sue Jung, of Columbus; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Homer W. “Pete” Helmlinger, 91, of Wapakoneta, died at 8:30 a.m. Saturday, March 9, 2013, at the Auglaize Acres.
He was born Jan. 3, 1922, in Auglaize County, the son of Malinda (Knarr) and William S. Helmlinger, who preceded him in death. On Feb. 16, 1945, he married Cleola Carter, and she survives. They just celebrated 68 years of marriage.
March 11th
Carrie B. Dingledine, 89, of Beavercreek, formerly of Wapakoneta, died at 10:42 a.m. Wednesday, March 6, 2013, at her residence.
She was born May 22, 1923, in Lima, the daughter of Elizabeth (Hare)and Karl Hughes Sr., who preceded her in death. On Aug. 15, 1943, she married Clyde H. Dingledine, and he died Jan. 12, 2005.
March 8th
Abby L. Thuman, 25, of Wapakoneta, died Wednesday evening, March 6, 2013, at her residence.
She was born Oct. 18, 1987, in Lima, the daughter of Cheryl (Walker) and Gene Thuman, who survive in Wapakoneta.
Also surviving are a son, Parker J. Thuman, at home; four siblings, Tina Barnard, of Wapakoneta, Molly (Jason) Place, of Wapakoneta, Jodi (Gary) Schleter, of Wapakoneta, and Pete Thuman, of Wapakoneta; and several aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.
