Betty M. Bowsher, 89, of rural Spencerville, died at 3:09 a.m. Sunday, Sept. 8, 2013, at St. Ritaâ€™s Medical Center in Lima following a short illness.
She was born Nov. 25, 1923, in Amanda Township, Allen County, the daughter of Blanche M. (Coon) and Clarence H. Boyer. On June 23, 1944, she married Kenneth E. Bowsher, who died Feb. 21, 1984.
Surviving are three children, Terry E. Bowsher, of Spencerville, Shannon M. Kubinski, of Wapakoneta, and Linda S. Johnston, of Lima.
Jeb T. Johnson, 24, of rural Spencerville, died suddenly at 12:01 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 7, 2013, at the St. Ritaâ€™s Medical Emergency Department in Lima.
He was born Dec. 23, 1988, in Columbus, the son of Linda S. (Jones) and James M. Johnson, who survive in Spencerville.
Also surviving are a sister, Lacy (Dustin) Gallaspie, of Spencerville; his maternal grandparents, Helen and James Jones, of Buckland; several aunts and uncles; his best friend, Mike Wolford; and all of the family pets, whom he just loved.
He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, June and John Johnson.
Carol A. Knoch, 78, of Wapakoneta, died at 7:08 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 8, 2013, at the St. Ritaâ€™s Medical Center in Lima.
She was born Dec. 22, 1934, in Jackson Township, Shelby County, the daughter of Margaret (Rickert) and Henry C. Christler, who preceded her in death. On Aug. 18, 1956, she married James M. Knoch, and he survives.
Marcile E. Faler, 90, of Wapakoneta, died at 1:15 a.m. Monday, Sept. 9, 2013, at The Gardens of Wapakoneta.
She was born April 9, 1923, in Shelby County, the daughter of Mary Estella (Gerdes) and Benjamin Franklin Steenrod, who preceded her in death. On July 26, 1947, she married Marvin Wilson Faler, and he died Feb. 4, 2010.
John V. Stinebaugh, 89, of Wapakoneta, passed away at 3:35 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 8, 2013, at Auglaize Acres in Wapakoneta.
He was born March 31, 1924, in Auglaize County, the son of Edith (Weadock) and Oscar Stinebaugh, who preceded him in death.
John is survived by his loving wife of 40 years, Joan Cox Earl Stinebaugh.
