Azuba B. Meffley, 87, of Lima, died at 12:30 a.m. Sunday, Feb. 3, 2013, at St. Rita’s Medical Center in Lima.
She was born Aug. 13, 1925, in Lima City Hospital, to Azuba Blogett and Smiles C. Wolfe, who preceded her in death. On Jan. 6, 1946, she married Gordon (Bud) L. Meffley, who died Dec. 17, 1980.
Bernard C. “Barney” McCullough, 90 ½ , of Wapakoneta, died at 11 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 2, 2013, at his residence.
He was born in Shinbone, Auglaize County, the son of Olga (Schroer) and Bernard McCullough Sr., who preceded him in death. On Oct. 7, 1944, he married Margaret A. Carlone, and she died Nov. 28, 2009.
Surviving are a daughter, Carol (Chuck) Maurer, of Seattle; a grandson, Christopher Maurer, of Seattle; and a brother, William J. (Joan) McCullough, of Florida.
He was preceded in death by 4 siblings.
