January 25th
William F. âOllieâ Anderson Sr., 79, of Cridersville, died at 11:02 a.m. Tuesday, Jan. 22, 2013, at St. Ritaâs Medical Center in Lima.
He was born Aug. 18, 1933, in Lima, the son of Gladys Erma (Shaw) and Fred L. Anderson, who preceded him in death. On May 29, 1956, he married Shirley Ann Luke, who survives.
Curtiss E. Hager, 86, of St. Marys, formerly of Spencerville, died at 3:54 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 22, 2013, at the St. Marys Living Center with family at his side. He had lived there since October 2012.
He was born Jan. 27, 1926, in Logan Township, Auglaize County, the son of Elma (Walther) and Earl Hager, who preceded him in death. On June 4, 1949, he married Ruthela Wagner, and she survives in St. Marys.
January 23rd
Sharon E. Bakhtiarian 70, of Wapakoneta, died at 3:45 p.m. Monday, Jan. 21, 2013, at her residence.
She was born Jan. 30, 1942, in Portland, Ind., the daughter of Marciel Tyndall- and Arthur P. Shull. Her father preceded her in death and her mother survives in Wapakoneta. She was also preceded in death by her step-father, Raymond Shull.
Also surviving are two daughters, Sarah Cox, of Nevada, and Suzanne Harris, of Oklahoma; a sister, Patricia (Larry) Baeumel, of Cridersville; four grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by a granddaughter.
Alice Louise Clayton, 55, mother, sister and soon to be Grandma, passed away Jan. 17, 2013, after a courageous six-year battle with cancer.
She was born on Oct. 24, 1957, a daughter of the late Mary Gearing and Walter Scott, who preceded her in death. On Oct. 1, 1977, she married William Clayton, welcoming two loving sons, Jason and Christopher.

Sharon Bakhtiarian 70, of Wapakoneta, died at 3:45 p.m. Monday, Jan. 21, 2013, at her residence.

Mary Kathryn Howe, 92, of Wapakoneta, died at 6 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 19, 2013, at Cridersville Healthcare Center.
She was born Feb. 23, 1920, in Wapakoneta, the daughter of Marie (Emerick) and Clarence Weber. On March 1, 1944, she married Frederick W. Howe, and he died Jan. 15, 2013.
Surviving are a daughter, Ann (Michael) Loy, of Botkins; a son, Dan Howe, of Wapakoneta; a grandson, Ryan (Krystal) Loy, of Wapakoneta; and two great âgrandchildren, Madison Loy, of Wapakoneta, and Noah Loy, of Wapakoneta.

Mary Kathryn Howe, 92, of Wapakoneta, died at 6 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 19, 2013, at Cridersville Healthcare Center.
Arrangements are incomplete at Bayliff and Eley Funeral Home in Wapakoneta.
John D. Lachey, 79, 321 S. Wagner Ave., Sidney, passed away at 5:30 p.m. Friday, Jan. 18, 2013, at his residence, surrounded by his loving family.
He was born Nov. 6, 1933, in Fort Loramie, the son of the late Katherine (Borchers) and Marcellus Lachey. On June 2, 1956, he married Marjorie Ballweg, who survives.
Also surviving are a daughter, Bev (Don)Goettemoeller, of Sidney; and a son, Joe (Shannon) Lachey, of Sidney.
He was preceded in death by a son, John M. Lachey.
George D. Truesdale, 86, of Wapakoneta, died at 2:38 a.m. Sunday, Jan. 20, 2013, at Wapakoneta Manor Nursing Home.
He was born Dec. 11, 1926, in Auglaize County, the son of the late Florence (Harps) and Roy Truesdale. On May 21, 1949, he married G. A. âSueâ Fiebelkorn, who survives in Wapakoneta.
Also surviving are two sons, Eric A. (Sandy) Truesdale, of Wapakoneta, and Todd A. Truesdale, of Watauga, Texas; a granddaughter, Acacia Truesdale; a brother, Roy (LaVon) Truesdale, of Cridersville; and a sister-in-law, Lilas Truesdale, of Texas.
Lucile H. Waldman, 95, of Wapakoneta, died at 1:35 p.m. Friday, Jan. 18, 2013, at Heritage of Huntington, Ind.
She was born Sept. 27, 1917, in Wapakoneta, the daughter of Margaret M. (Sheipline) and Joseph R. Brown, who preceded her in death. On Nov. 1, 1936, she married John F. Waldman, and he died June 25, 1979. They lived their entire lives on Defiance Street in Wapakoneta.
