Opal C. Sproul, 90, of Waynesfield, died at 10:09 pm Friday, Jan. 25, 2013, at Otterbein-Cridersville.
She was born Jan. 31, 1922, in Bellefontaine, the daughter of Goldie (Johns) and Paul Snook. On June 8, 1941, in Bellefontaine, she married Russell E. Sproul, and he preceded her in death Sept 12, 2004.
Surviving are four daughters, Victoria Agnew, of Waynesfield, Marsha Mangen, of St. Marys, Darlene Chiles, of Waynesfield, and Denise Green, of Celina.
John K. Burke, 95, of Glynnwood, died Saturday, Jan. 26, 2013, at his residence.
He was born Sept. 14, 1917, in Glynnwood, the son of Julia (Cogan) and David L. Burke, and they preceded him in death. On May 3, 1952, at St. Patrick’s Catholic Church in Glynnwood, he married La Vera Schumann, who survives.
Carolyn A. “Timmy” Timmerman, 81, of Lima, passed away Friday night, Jan. 25, 2013, at Lima Memorial Hospital.
She was born March 23, 1931, in Lima, the daughter of the late Vera C. (McCune) and Marcus V. Alspaugh. On July 19, 1953, in Lima, she married Marvin E. Timmerman, and he preceded her in death in 1982.
Surviving are a son, Steve (LeeAnn) Timmerman, of Ada; a daughter, Lisa (Bill) McKinnon, of Lakeview; eight grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a sister, Jane Youngpeter.
