September 28th
Barbara L. Norton, 58, of Wapakoneta, died Thursday morning, Sept. 27, 2012, at St. Rita’s Medical Center in Lima.
Arrangements are incomplete at Bayliff & Eley Funeral Home in Wapakoneta.
Douglas J. Baker, 50, of Lima, died at 5:50 p.m. Sept. 26, 2012, at The Ohio State University Medical Center in Columbus.
He was born June 26, 1962, in Lima, the son of Evelyn Irene (Weburg) and Bobby Baker, who preceded her in death. On Nov. 9, 1985, he married Diane L. Knowlton, who survives.
Marguerite Hile Stewart, 96, of Lima, died at 10:18 a.m. Wednesday, Sept. 26, 2012, at Otterbein-Cridersville Skilled Nursing.
She was born July 27, 1916, in Cridersville, to Jenny (Burden) and Charles Baker (deceased). On Aug. 6, 1938, she married Rollin H. Hile, who after 61 years of marriage, died Jan. 9, 1999 at age 88. On April 3, 2004, she married George C. Stewart, who survives in Lima.

Marguerite Hile Stewart, 96, of Lima, died at 10:18 a.m. Wednesday, Sept. 26, 2012, at Otterbein-Cridersville Skilled Nursing.
Services are at 11 a.m. Monday at Bayliff & Son Funeral Home in Cridersville, with the Rev. Charlotte Hefner officiating.
Burial will follow in Shawnee Cemetery.
Friends may call from 4 to 7 p.m., Sunday at the funeral home.

John “Jack” 0. Yale, 92, of Lakeview, died at 6:40 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 25, 2012, at Heartland of Indian Lake.
He was born March 20, 1920, in Waynesfield, the son of Marie (Badeau) and Elmer Benjamin Yale. On Dec. 12, 1944, he married Martha Edgington and she survives at Lakeview.
Also surviving are four daughters, Anita Williamson, of Mansfield, Deborah Georg, of Columbus, Martha Manchester, of Lakeview, and Beverly (Bill) Pfeiffer, of Columbus.

Services are at 11 a.m. Friday at Waynesfield Baptist Church, with the Rev. Don Smith officiating. Burial will follow at Willow Branch Cemetery.
Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday and 10 to 11 a.m. Friday at the church.

Robert L. Francis, 81, formerly of 322 West Madison St., St. Marys, and a resident of Otterbein St. Marys Retirement Community, died at 5:04 p.m. Monday, Sept. 24, 2012, at Lima Memorial Hospital.
He was born Jan. 1, 1931, in Portsmouth, the son of Opal (Bryan) and Arthur Francis.
Services are at 6 p.m. Thursday at the Miller Funeral Home in St. Marys, with the Rev. Gary Mosley officiating. Graveside burial rites will be held 1 p.m. Friday at the Hickory Ridge Cemetery in Bentonville.
Friends may call from 1 to 5 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
Marilyn Ruth Young, 81, of Cridersville, died Tuesday afternoon at her residence.
She was born May 30, 1931, in Lima, the daughter of the late Retha Elizabeth (Gossard) and Claire Eugene Staup. On Sept. 18, 1948, she married Olin Burdette Young, who died June 18, 2008.

Alison Renee Roediger, 53, of New Knoxville, died at 11:43 a.m. Friday, Sept. 21, 2012, at the St. Rita’s Medical Center in Lima.
She was born March 12, 1959, in Lima, the daughter of Ruth (Cook) and John Robert Jaynes. Her mother survives in Wapakoneta, and her father survives in Hillsboro.
Mary Vail McCoy, 91, of Lima, died at 6:30 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 22, 2012, at Lima Memorial Health Systems.
She was born Nov. 30, 1920, in Cleveland, the daughter of Cretora (Hay) and George S. Vail, who preceded her in death. On May 18, 1962, she married Glenn W. McCoy, who died July 1, 1995, in Lima.
