June 13th
Richard J. “Dick” Jurosic, 76, of Wapakoneta, died at 7:28 a.m. Tuesday, June 12, 2012, at St. Rita’s Medical Center in Lima.
He was born March 31, 1936, in Wapakoneta, the son of Louise A. (Schmith) and Ivan J. Jurosic, who preceded him in death. On Dec. 26, 1959, he married Marilyn A. Elsass, and she died May 6, 2009.
June 12th
Lois V. Posey, 96, of Harrison, Mich., formerly of Saginaw, Mich., passed away on Saturday, June 9, 2012, at her home surrounded by her family.
She was born Aug. 13, 1915, in Wapakoneta, the daughter of Carolyn (Zerkle) and Lewis Bowersock. On Dec. 24, 1935, in Wapakoneta, she was united in marriage to Roy G. Posey in Wapakoneta.
Richard “Dick” Eversman, 80, of Oregon, died Tuesday, June 5, 2012, at Hospice of Northwest Ohio.
He was born March 29, 1932, in Wapakoneta, the son of Geraldine J. (Doering) and Leonard H. Eversman. On Nov. 22, 1952, he married Carol J. Jackson, who survives.
Also surviving are three sons, Jeff Eversman, of Oregon, Michael Eversman, of Lathrop, Mo., and Jerry Eversman, of Oregon; and a daughter, Lisa Schnell, of Oregon.
Services with full military rites were held June 8 at Heritage Christian Church in Oregon.
Friends called from 10 to 11 a.m. June 8 at the church.
Former Auglaize County Sheriff Larry R. Longsworth, 62, of Wapakoneta, passed away at 12:55 a.m. Monday, June 11, 2012, at The Wexner Medical Center at Ohio State University in Columbus, surrounded by his loving family.
Larry was born Feb. 18, 1950, in Mercer County, the son of Bernice (Nuss) and Robert Longsworth. His father survives in Wapakoneta, and his mother preceded him in death. He is also survived by his beloved wife of 40 years, Janice (Haehn) Longsworth.

Myrtle DeLong, 103, of Wapakoneta, died at 11:15 a.m. Saturday, June 9, 2012, at her son’s residence near Wapakoneta.
She was born Sept. 20, 1908, to Millie and Jessie Shaw, who preceded her in death. On May 2, 1931, she married Harley DeLong , who died Oct. 9, 1983.

Eva Louise Malueg, 48, of Fort Worth, Texas, formerly of Lima and Wapakoneta, passed away peacefully at 9:20 p.m. Wednesday, June 6, 2012, at Community Hospice of Texas in Forth Worth with her daughters by her side after a three-month battle with lung cancer.
She was born Jan. 28, 1964, in Lima, the daughter of Jeanie Childers and Jerry Malueg. Her mother preceded her in death.
Eva Louise Malueg, 48, of Fort Worth, Texas, formerly of Lima, and Wapakoneta, passed away peacefully at 9:20 p.m. Wednesday, June 6, 2012, at Community Hospice of Texas in Forth Worth with her daughters by her side after a three-month battle with lung cancer.
She was born Jan. 28, 1964, in Lima, the daughter of Jeanie Childers and Jerry Malueg. Her mother preceded her in death.
Thomas A. Rain, 60, 27 Summerplace Drive, Wapakoneta, died at 8:06 p.m. Tuesday, June 5, 2012, at Lutheran Hospital in Fort Wayne, Ind.
He was born Dec. 27, 1951, in Celina, to R. Maxine (Uncapher) and Harold Rain.
Surviving are two sons, Bryan Rain, of Powell, and JD Burkheimer of Goshen, Ind.; and three daughters, Jennifer Egbert, of New Knoxville, Tracey Wilkins of Potterville, Mich., and Mandee Slavik, of Rockford.
Services are at 10:30 a.m. Monday at Miller Funeral Home in St. Marys, with the Rev. Joy Miller officiating.
Friends may call from 2 to 6 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
Ervin E. “Ed” Rohm 88, of Wapakoneta, died at 8:30 p.m. Wednesday, June 6, 2012, at St. Rita’s Medical Center in Lima.
He was born Jan. 22, 1924, in Vanderbilt, Pa., the son of Ada (Blair) and Curly E. Rohm, who preceded him in death. In 1948, he married Ardath Moyer who passed away May 12, 2012.
Leo C. “Sonny” Ott, 81, of Botkins, died at 8:50 p.m. Wednesday, June 6, 2012, at the Wapakoneta Manor.
He was born July 14, 1930, in Auglaize County, the son of Louise (Schneider) and Andrew J. Ott, who preceded him in death. On March 10, 1951, he married Mary E. Norris, and she survives.
