Doyle V. Snider, 85, of Lima died 12:15 p. m., Friday, April 27 at his residence.
He was born Jan. 19, 1927 in Unio-polis to Oscar and Nellie Butler Snider, who preceded him in death. He married Frances ‘Frankie’ Polick March 13, 1948 and she preceded him in death Dec. 26, 1993. He married Betty Kohli Sept. 16, 1995 and she survives in Lima.
Wilda Miars, 85, formerly of 04521 Auglaize County Road 33-A, St. Marys, died at 9:12 p.m. Thursday, April 26, 2012 at Memorial Hospital of Union County in Marysville.
She was born March 18, 1927, in St. Marys, to Ireta (Seib) and Vernon Schmehl. On May 24, 1947, she married Gail V. Miars, who died Sept. 20, 1995.
Surviving are three daughters, Barbara Ellen Langsdon, of Louisville, Ky., Karen Joseph, of Celina, Joyce Moon, of Marysville, and Nancy Miars, of Hilliard; and two sons, Darrell Miars, of Portland, Ore., and Russell Miars, of Portland, Ore.

Arrangements are incomplete with the Miller Funeral Home in St. Marys.
Marilyn A. Sheets, 73, 235 Pershing Drive, St. Marys, died at 3:30 a.m. Thursday, April 26, 2012, at her residence.
She was born March 1, 1939, in Ohio City, to Matra (Wilson) and Albert “Buck” Davis.
On Nov. 15, 1965, in Sidney, she married Rex Sheets, who died Sept. 2, 2002.
Surviving is a daughter Patricia Fast, of St. Marys.
Services are at 1 p.m. Monday at Miller Funeral in St. Marys, with the Rev.Josh Andrews officiating. Private family burial will take place at Neptune Cemetery.
Friends may call from 4 to 6 p.m. Sunday and 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
Byron “Barney” C. Anderson, 88, formerly of Celina, died at 6:20 p.m. Wednesday, April 25, 2012, at Wapakoneta Manor.
He was born June 6, 1923, in Jefferson Township, Mercer County, to Mary (Granger) and Charles Anderson. On Nov. 12, 1955, he married Garnet Dalton, who preceded him in death May 12, 2011.
Roger L. Carnes, 54, of Wapakoneta, died at 2:55 p.m. Tuesday, April 24, 2012, at Lima Memorial Health System following a sudden illness.
He was born Sept. 2, 1957, in Lima, the son of Theresa (Benny) and Emmett Carnes. His mother survives in Wapakoneta and his father is deceased.

Eulah I. “Peg” Dotson, 96 of Lima, died at 2:55 a.m. Tuesday, April 24, 2012, in Springview Manor.
She was born March 8, 1916, in Allen County, to the late Lola Berry and Bert W. VanSchoyck.

Lester D. Fergus 89, of Wapakoneta, died at The Gardens at Wapakoneta.
A Mass of Christian Burial is at 10 a.m. Saturday at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Wapakoneta.
Friends may call from 9 to 10 a.m. Saturday at Schlosser Funeral Home & Cremation Services, in Wapakoneta.

Evelyn L. Feiger, 82, of Toledo, died at 3:30 a.m. Monday, April 23, 2012, at Lutheran Village of Wolf Creek.
She was born Oct. 12, 1929, in Pomeroy, the daughter of the late Ruth (Hampp ) and John Phillip “Fiege” Feiger.
Services are at 11 a.m. Thursday at Buckland Cemetery, with the Rev. Keith Simpson officiating.
A memorial service will be 4 p.m. Sunday, at Holland Free Methodist Church in Holland.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Holland Free Methodist Church Quiz Team in Holland.

Rosalie V. “Rosie” Frey, 74, of Wapakoneta, died at 1:06 p.m. Tuesday, April 24, 2012, at St. Rita’s Medical Center in Lima.
She was born June 17, 1937, in Rockford, the daughter of Ona (Piepmeyer) and Edward F. Hines, who preceded her in death. On June 14, 1958, she married Keith Garold Frey, and he died Sept. 2, 1984.
Survivors are a sister-in-law, Delight Hines, of Tillamook, Ore., and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by three brothers, Carl Hines, Charles Hines, and Junior Franklin Hines; a sister, LaVaun Ewing; and two infant sisters.
