Eva I. DeLong, 88, of Wapakoneta died at 12:45 p.m. Tuesday, April 10, 2012, at St. Ritaâs Medical Center in Lima.
She was born Oct. 15, 1923, near Cridersville to Norma Fox and Russell Williams. On July 27, 1946, she married Clarence F. âWinnieâ DeLong, and he preceded her in death April 17, 1995.
Surviving are a son, Dennis (Jean) DeLong, of Wapakoneta; three grandchildren, Doug (Kelli) DeLong, David (Ashley) DeLong and Michele (Rob) Seidel; and three great-grandsons, David Thomas, Grant Matthew and Ethan Alexander Seidel.
John J. Smith, 83, of Battle Creek, Mich., passed away peacefully Sunday. April 8, 2012, at his home.
He was born Oct. 13, 1928, in Waynesfield, the son of Nellie and John Smith. On Oct. 20, 1951, he married Bernadette âBonnieâ Christen, who preceded him in death in 2004.
