Berniece I. Henning, 82, 14210 State Route 116, St. Marys, died at 5:26 a.m. Wednesday, March 7, 2012, at Joint Township District Hospital in St. Marys.
She was born March 31, 1929, in Celina, to Nellie (McDonald) and Charles Boice.
On Feb. 28, 1948 in Covington, Ky., she married Edwin R. Henning, who died Nov. 26, 2002.
Surviving are two sons, Edwin D. Henning, of Marion, and Terry Henning, of St. Marys; and two daughters, Janiece Henning, of St. Marys, and Nan Luedeke, of St. Marys.
Bernard D. “Bernie” McCarty, 84, of Wapakoneta, died at 12:42 p.m., Tuesday, March 6, 2012, at Wapakoneta, Manor.
He was born March 21, 1927, in a farm home in Marion Township, Hardin County, the son of Francis (Fields) and Hobart McCarty, who preceded him in death. On June 8, 1947, he married Mary Ann Copeland, and she survives.
Also surviving are a son, Ronald J. McCarty, of Wapakoneta; two sisters, Darlene Beelman, of Perrysburg, and Sondra (Bob) Bird, of Yuma, Ariz.; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by a sister, Myra Van Voorhis.
Rita Jean (Scheblo) Wilfong, 63, of Holt, Mich., formerly of Wapakoneta, died at 10:40 a.m. Tuesday, March 6, 2012, at her residence.
She was born Dec. 9, 1948, in Lima, the daughter of Esther L. (West) and John A. Scheblo, who preceded her in death. On Sept. 30, 1972, she married Michael A. Wilfong, and he survives.
Also surviving are a brother, Richard (Jane Berres) Scheblo, of Wapakoneta; 24 nieces and nephews; and 34 great-nieces and nephews.
March 7th
Victor L. McKinney, 63, 430 Huffman St., St. Marys, died at 10:15 a.m., Monday, March 5, 2012, at Golden Living Center -Valley.
He was born July 25, 1948, in Celina, to Gladys (Coil) and Raymond McKinney. On Oct. 3, 1993, in Waynesfield, he married Leslie Rone, who died Oct. 18, 2011.
He is survived by his sister, Janet White, of St. Marys.
Funeral rites are scheduled for 10:30 a.m. Saturday at Ross Church of the Brethren, with the Rev. Keith Stoller officiating. Burial will follow at the Resthaven Memorial Gardens, near Moulton.
Rita Jean Wilfong, 63, of Holt, Mich,, formerly of Wapakoneta, died at 10:40 a.m. Tuesday, March 6, 2012, at her residence.
Friends may call from 5 to 8 p.m. Friday at Bayliff & Eley Funeral Home in Wapakoneta.

Marcille M. Cole Oakman, 85, of Wauchula, Fla., formerly of Waynesfield, died Monday, March 5, 2012, at her residence.

Linda Lou Luke, 62, of Cridersville, died at 12:47 p.m. Monday, March 5, 2012, at St. Rita’s Medical Center in Lima.
She was born June 8, 1949, in Celina, the daughter of Mary Ellen Wallace and Robert E. Minnich, who preceded her in death. On Nov. 10, 1973, she married Robert Dean Duke, who died Feb. 9, 2001.
Surviving are a brother, Robert (Carla) Minnich, of New Bremen, and three nephews, Austin J. Minnich, of New Bremen, Mitchell R. Minnich, of New Bremen, and Spencer W. Minnich, of New Bremen.
She was a homemaker and a 1967 graduate of New Bremen High School.
Doris E. Miner, 92, of Lima,, died at 10:14 p.m. Monday, March 5, 2012, at Lost Creek Care Center in Lima.
She was born Sept. 24, 1919, in Drakes Mills, Pa., to Dora (Medley) and Irvin Hornaman, who preceded her in death. On Sept. 5, 1942, she married Arthur C. Miner and he died Aug. 7, 1987.
