Rev. Howard William Washburn, 89, of St. Marys, died Tuesday, Feb. 21, 2012, at Lima Memorial Health System.
He was born Oct. 27, 1922, in Hackensack, N. J., to Adlagunda Bellm and Russell LeRoy Washburn Sr., and raised by his grandparents Christina and John Bellm. His wife, Barbara Washburn, survives.
Also surviving are two sons, John Washburn, and Jim Washburn.
He was preceded in death by a son, Mark Washburn.
Chris L. Ewing, 55, of Stuart, Fla., formerly of Wapakoneta, died at 5:30 a.m. Sunday, Feb. 12, 2012, at his residence after a brief battle with cancer.
He was born Aug. 12, 1957, the son of the late Sylvia and Robert Ewing. On Feb. 26, 1994, he married Gianna Werner, who survives.
Also surviving are a son, Christopher Ewing; a daughter, Selena Ewing; six sisters, Christine Turkelson, Coleen Bowersock, Carol Hickman, Charlotte Preville, Cindy Stechschulte, and Connie Kantner; and a brother, Cliff Ewing.
He was preceded in death by a brother, Charles Ewing.
