Mildred A. Botkin, 93, formerly of 1033 S. Wayne St., St. Marys, died at 7:45 a.m. Tuesday, Jan. 31, 2012, at her daughter’s residence in Xenia where she had resided for the past two years.
She was born Aug. 5, 1918, in Rockford, the daughter of Frances (Witter) and John Alspaugh.
On June 11, 1946, she married Charles Botkin, and he preceded her in death on Sept. 21, 2010.
Surviving is a daughter, Jean Rupert, of Xenia.
Services are at 1:30 p.m. Saturday at the Miller-Long in St. Marys, with the Rev. Tim Smith, officiating. Burial will follow at Elm Grove Cemetery in St. Marys.
Jody M. Heppeard Hughes, 47, of Celina, died Monday, Jan. 30, 2012, at Joint Township District Memorial Hospital in St. Marys.
She was born Dec. 18, 1964, in Celina, the daughter of Mary Heppeard Massengill and Bill R. Hughes, who both survive.
Also surviving are three sons, Richard Kupper, of Wapakoneta, William Brown, of Celina, and Randy Hughes, of Washington; and two daughters, Kaylea Beougher, of Celina, and Sherri Kupper, of Wapakoneta.
Services are at 2 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 12, at The Lord’s Church in Celina, with the Rev. Randy Christian officiating.
There will be no visitation.
