Helen Copeland, 93, of rural Wapakoneta, died at 8:40 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 15, 2012, at Lima Memorial Health System.

Verti Lee Chaffins, 79, of Bourbonnais, Ill., formerly of St. Marys, died Tuesday, February 14, 2012, in the emergency room at Riverside Medical Center in Kankakee, Illinois.
She was born Nov. 26, 1932, in Mousie, Ky., the daughter of Cordie (Tuttle) and Edgle Wicker. On Feb. 13, 1947, she married Richard Chaffins, and he preceded her in death Oct. 28, 2005.
She is survived by two daughters, Carolyn Manago, of Momence, Ill., and Norma (Eric) Prather, of Bourbonnais, Ill,; and a son, Charles (RoseAnn) Chaffins, of Sidney.
Anna Lea Miller, 76, of Lima, formerly of Wapakoneta, died at 6:05 a.m. Tuesday, Feb. 14, 2012, at Baton Rouge in Lima.
She was born Aug. 24, 1935, in Alton, W.Va., the daughter of Mirley Jane (Kittle) at Aubrey Russell Tenney, who preceded her in death. On May 10, 1953, she married Ronald D. Miller, and he died Feb. 23, 1986.
