December 30th
William H. Garrett, 68, of Wapakoneta, died at 2:15 p.m. Friday, Dec. 28, 2012, at St. Rita’s Medical Center in Lima.
He was born Aug. 15, 1944, in Columbus, the son of Dorothy L. (Webb) and Howard R. Garrett, who preceded him in death. On Dec. 31, 1978, he married Lora L. Winget, and she survives in Wapakoneta.
Also surviving are two sons, William II (Rachel) Garrett, and Shaun (Bethany) Garrett; three daughters, Julie Smith, Penny Young, and Angel (Adam) Stahler; 10 grandchildren; and three sisters, Delores Truman, Phyllis Talley, and Faye Bossert.

December 27th
Virginia Ann Hoelscher, 89, of New Knoxville, died at 1:40 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 26, 2012, at Joint Township District Memorial Hospital in St. Marys.
She was born Jan. 21, 1923, in Wapakoneta, the daughter of Rose (Burk) and John Pitthan, who preceded her in death. On April 13, 1946, she married Myron Hoelscher, and he preceded her in death on Nov. 12, 2003.
Kathy M. Kayle, 57, of Findlay, died at 5:10 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 25, 2012, at her residence.
She was born on Dec. 12, 1955, in Lorain, the daughter of the late Kathleen (Lindsey) and Vincent LaGana. On Oct. 8, 1976, she married Don Kayle, and he survives.
Viola M. Roettger, 98, 17088 Kettlersville Road, Botkins, died at 8:20 p.m. Monday, Dec. 24, 2012, at Elmwood of New Bremen.
She was born May 27, 1914, in Washington Township, Auglaize County, to Caroline (Fledderjohann) and Edward H. Arnett. On Sept. 8, 1940, at the United Church of Christ in New Knoxville, she married Marvin F. Roettger, and he preceded her in death.
December 26th
Bettie J. Schaub, 91, of Wapakoneta, died at 2:50 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 23, 2012, at Auglaize Acres in Wapakoneta.
She was born Dec. 19, 1921, in Delphos, the daughter of Icy Mae (Felver) and Clinton Miller, who preceded her in death. On June 25, 1955, she married Cletus W. Schaub, and he died March 3, 1987.
Surviving are three sons, Paul (Nancy) Schaub, of Wapakoneta, Cletus George Schaub, of Deshler, and John (Vickie) Schaub, of Wapakoneta; a daughter, Martha Schroer, of Wapakoneta, eight grandchildren; and 16 great grandchildren.
Viola Roettger, 98, formerly of Kettlersville, died at 8:25 p.m. Monday, Dec. 24, 2012 at Elmwood Assisted Living in New Bremen.

Vernon F. Stolzenburg, 83, of Wapakoneta, died at 7:10 a.m. Tuesday, Dec. 25, 2012, at Auglaize Acres in Wapakoneta.
He was born Aug. 28, 1929, in Wapakoneta, the son of Alpha (Myers) and Henry Stolzenburg, who preceded him in death. On April 12, 1948, he married Betty L. Chilcoat, and she survives.
Lois I. Bogart, 90, of Wapakoneta, died at 6:45 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 23, 2012, at Auglaize Acres in Wapakoneta.
She was born Jan 27, 1922, in Wapakoneta, the daughter of Emma (Knoch) and Ray Harshbarger, who preceded her in death. On June 9, 1946 she married Robert R. “Bob” Bogart, and he survives.
