William Richard “Dick” Hatfield, 93, of Waynesfield, went home to be with the Lord on Monday, Dec. 19, 2011, at his daughter’s home in Rushylvania surrounded by his loving family.
He was born Sept. 4, 1918, in Alger, the son of Icy (Bennett) and William R. Hatfield. On Jan. 31, 1940, he married Charlotte Focht and she survives in Waynesfield.
Also surviving are a son, Michael (Sonya) Hatfield, of Wapakoneta; a daughter, Pamela (Bill) Wreede, of Rushylvania, nine grandchildren, 21 great-grandchildren, and four great-great-grandchildren.
Ralph P. Meinerding, 89, of Wapakoneta, died at 10:55 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 18, 2011, at The Gardens in Wapakoneta.
He was born Nov. 5, 1922, in Rose Hill, the son of Josephine (Hein) and Charles Meinerding, who preceded him in death. On June 13, 1946, he married Irene E. Staugler, and she survives.
Charles Hugh Frederick Sr., 74, of Wapakoneta, died at 5:40 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 18, 2011, at Auglaize Acres.
He was born Sept. 6, 1937, in Duncanville, Ill., the son of Mary Ellen (Eveland) and Harley H. Frederick, who preceded him in death. On Feb. 5, 1955, he married Elizabeth Mae Crist, and she survives in Wapakoneta.
