Utility rates to go up

CRIDERSVILLE — Residents can expect an increase of $5 on water and sewer combined utility bills starting on September’s billing period.
The decision to increase the cost was made during a regular meeting of the Cridersville Village Council this week.
Cridersville Village Administrator Jarid Kohlrieser said residents will pay $30.23 with the increase, while anyone outside of the corporation who receives Cridersville water and sewer utilities will pay $43.79.

Drive Sober campaign under way

Getting an update on street progress

As workers near the end of phase one of the East Auglaize Street reconstruction project, members of the Wapakoneta City Council Streets and Alleys Committee met Thursday with officials from the city engineer’s office to view the progress.
“We are pleased with the progress,” said Dan Graf, committee chairman. “The features included are time-tested and should last a long time. The architectural features that are being used are pleasing to the eye. We couldn’t be happier.”

City, schools discuss TIF
