School administrators, teachers and families gathered to recognize six students for their achievements in the classroom during a Wapakoneta City Schools Board of Education meeting in the cafeteria of Wapakoneta Elementary School on Tuesday night.
“I really enjoy doing this because our students can get some recognition so that they can shine,” WES Principal Mark Selvaggio said. “They also have their parents and grandparents here, and you can tell by their faces how proud they are of their children.
BOTKINS — Zoning issues regarding the proposed front entrance sign at the new school building came up at a regular Botkins Village Council meeting Tuesday evening.
Village Administrator Jesse Kent said the sign is to exceed the limits of 32 square feet in size and 6 feet in height.
Mayor Steve Woodruff advised council of a similar situation when a sign exceeded allowed proportions. In that case, council did not make any exceptions.
A handful of people, ranging in age, gathered at the back of the performing arts center at Wapakoneta High School on Tuesday evening.
In a rush the current cast and crew of the 2014 WHS musical, the Music Man, came to greet their visitors and find out what they all have in common.
An emotional, educational and exciting alumni reunion followed as the visitors happened to be former cast and crew members of past productions of the Music Man.
