When the 2013 Auglaize County Beef queen heard her name read as the next to serve as a representative for the Auglaize County Cattlemen’s Association, she said she thought for a second they read someone’s else’s name — then the realization of the moment struck her.
The Wapakoneta Theatre Guild is getting ready for their annual spring performance by scheduling a casting call.
Audition dates for the spring production of “A Night in the Theatre” are scheduled to be held at 7:30 p.m. Monday and Tuesday on the second floor of the Wapakoneta Area Chamber of Commerce building, 30 E. Auglaize St.
The play calls for two couples of indeterminate age, with the possibility of extras with non-speaking roles.
Entries are being accepted for several displays and competitions to be held during this year’s Waynesfield-Goshen Muchinippi WinterFest.
Scheduled for March 8 and 9, in the Waynesfield-Goshen School auditeria, the annual event features a wide array of activities for all ages.
WinterFest, which is a revival of an old community tradition, is the only fundraiser for the Waynesfield-Goshen Muchinippi Community Theatre and is become a fundraising forum for other community groups as well.
