CRIDERSVILLE - A multi-vehicle collision backed up traffic several miles on southbound I-75 Monday afternoon. The accident took place around 2 p.m. between mile markers 113 and 118.

Open battlefields, stone monuments and reenactors dressed in period costume were just a few of the things members of Joe Fosterâ€™s Civil War class and Civil War Brigade club at Waynesfield-Goshen High saw during their trip to Gettysburg in late November. Seniors Jenna Riemesch, Jenna Whitaker, Kendra Plummer, Mindi Brookhart and Alyn Begly, along with four chaperones including Foster and his wife Carrie, left Thursday morning from the school to make the trek to Quaker Valley Orchard, where they stayed in a guest house for the duration of their stay in Gettysburg.
Big brand stores may have had their day on Black Friday, but Wapakoneta stole the spotlight during Small Business Saturday.
Many stores throughout Wapakoneta promoted shopping local during this yearâ€™s Small Business Saturday, a growing trend throughout the United States.Â
Sisters Cassie Wireman and Ashley Spillis, both of Waynesfield, said they visited downtown Wapakoneta specifically because of Small Business Saturday.Â
They originally planned to visit the mall for left over Black Friday deals.
