A city administrator proposed a road map for upcoming Wapakoneta street improvement projects totaling more than $6 million to be completed during the next five years.
Wapakoneta Engineering Superintendent Mary Ruck generated the five-year plan which calls for reconstructing Perry Street and West Auglaize Street and improving the area behind downtown businesses as well as repaving and improving the downtown section of Auglaize Street and Stinebaugh Drive.

A downtown revitalization program proved to be very popular with downtown property owners hoping to take advantage of a joint city-private organization effort, a Downtown Wapakoneta Partnership member says.

Christiansenâ€™s brother, Dave Christiansen, of Wapakoneta, said he attended the game and was proud of his sisterâ€™s performance on the field.
â€śIt was absolutely wonderful â€” very emotional,â€ť Dave Christiansen said.
