CRIDERSVILLE — Children walking to school should notice additional sidewalks in the village as the Safe Routes to Schools project tops the list of projects in the village, the Cridersville administrator says.
Cridersville Mayor Lorali Myers said the Safe Routes to Schools project calls for installing sidewalks along Reichelderfer and Carlisle streets.
“We are looking forward to the direct connection from Main (Street) to the school,” Myers said.
New month, new location.
Startng Wednesday, area senior citizens will gather at the Wapakoneta Family YMCA, having outgrown their current site in the basement of the Wapakoneta Heritage Center located downtown.
Wapakoneta police officers are investigating an incident of inducing panic.
A police officer made contact with employees at the NAPA store, 8 Pearl St., at 10 a.m. Saturday about a complaint they received early Thursday morning from a female informing store employees that they may be in some sort of danger from a male possessing firearms.
According to the report, later in the day, it was learned that the allegations were false and there was no danger.
