Auglaize County Health Department officials are considering increases to food service license fees.
Environmental Health Director Curt Anderson distributed charts of Auglaize Countyâ€™s current fees and those of 22 health department in the stateâ€™s northwest district to Auglaize County Health Board members during Tuesdayâ€™s meeting to compare and review during the next month as they prepare to hear proposals for fee increases locally.
ST. MARYS â€” Seventy-two people walked into Easy Campground in St. Marys with an equal shot of walking away with $10,000 as part of a promotion hosted by two area newspapers.

One-by-one, 72 participants walked across the stage until there was only one left standing. In the end, New Bremen resident Jon Wente walked away with the cash and a smile.
A U.S. Congressman says he plans to introduce a bill that would help school districts across the state keep up with renovation and maintenance projects.
The Fix Americaâ€™s Schools Today (FAST) Act, to be introduced by Democratic U.S. Sen. Sherrod Brown, would provide financial assistance to help cover a multitude of projects for districts across the nation. Under a proposal included in President Barack Oba-maâ€™s American Jobs Act, Brown said Ohio could net approximately $986 billion for projects, which could support more than 12,000 jobs.
