Mary L. Bean, 84, of Newark, formally of Zanesville, passed away Saturday, Nov. 5, 2011, at The Inn at SharonBrooke in Newark.Â
She was born in Forrest, the daughter of the late Lula Kauble and Clarence Brown.
She is survived by a son, Mark Bean of Crestview, Fla.; and a daughter Carole Kincaid of Granville.
She was proceeded in death by her husband, Arthur A. Bean Jr.
Services are at 1 p.m. Tuesday at Zanesville Memorial Park Cemetery.
Friends may call from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Tuesday at The Snouffer Funeral Home in Zanesville.

Paula Zerbe, 60, of Lima, died Nov. 1, 2011, at her residence.
She was born Oct. 15, 1951, the daughter of Emma Mae (Hackworth) and Raymond Zerbe. Her mother survives in Lima.
Services are at 11 a.m. Tuesday in the activities room at Lima Manor, the Rev. David Stanford officiating. Burial will follow at Memorial Park Cemetery.
Friends may call from 10 to 11 a.m. Tuesday at Lima Manor.
Arrangements are being handled by Bayliff & Son Funeral Home in Cridersville.

Dale Anthony Dominic Eversman, 30, of 09516 Auglaize County Road 66A, New Bremen, passed away unexpectedly Thursday, Nov. 3, 2011 at his residence from complications of Marfans Syndrome.
He was born April 27, 1981, in St. Marys, to Cynthia Eversman and Dale Junod.
He is survived by a daughter, Hayley Eversman.
Services are at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at Miller Funeral Home in St. Marys. Burial will follow at the German Protestant Cemetery in New Bremen.
Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday and 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
Jay J. Lenhart, 42, of Shadyside, Pa., died Tuesday, Oct. 18, 2011, after a battle with cancer.
He was the son of Norma (Gene) Gill, of Wapakoneta, and Thomas (Glenice) Lenhart, Sr., of Sidney.
A celebration of life will be held Saturday from 1 to 4 p.m. in the ballroom side at the Eagles Lodge in Wapakoneta.

Lourine T. Posey, 73, of Defiance, died Saturday, Nov. 5, 2011, at Hospice of Northwest Ohio, in Toledo.
She was born Oct. 4, 1938, the daughter of Florence Kowalski and John Voss, of Henry County. They preceded her in death.
She married Billy A. Posey on March 12, 1960, and he preceded her in death on Sept. 25, 1997.
Also preceding her in death were a son, Patrick Posey, and a daughter, Sherry Posey.
Doris M. Frey, 73, of Lima, died at 9:58 p.m. Nov. 5, 2011, at her residence.
She was born Nov. 15, 1937, in Clay Township, Auglaize County, the daughter of Cleo (Lillard) and Howard Shoffstall. On Feb. 5, 1957, she married James L. Frey, who survives.
Carol A. Kohnen, 52, of Centerville, passed away peacefully on Friday Nov. 4, 2011.
Ivan C. Klopfenstein, 76, of Wapakoneta, died at 11:58 p.m. Monday, Oct. 31, 2011, at St. Ritaâ€™s Medical Center in Lima.
He was born Nov. 2, 1934, in Jackson Township, Shelby County, the son of Caroline M. (Kahler) and Christian A. Klopfenstein, who preceded him in death.
Surviving are two sons, Terry (Mary Carson) Klopfenstein, of Wapakoneta, Christopher (Angela) Klopfenstein, of Wapakoneta; five grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; four sisters, Erma Wilt, of Sidney, Eileen Falor, of West Liberty, Martha Spicer, of Troy, and Florence Shipman, of Sidney.
The Auglaize County commissioners will have to go back to the drawing board in finding a new county administrator.
Tim Klopfenstein told commissioners on Friday he had decided to not take the position only eight days after the commissioners reached an agreement on hiring the Wapakoneta businessman.
Klopfensteinâ€™s decision came 24 days before he was scheduled to start work on Nov. 28.
â€śWe were told Friday that for personal reasons, he was going to decline taking the position,â€ť Commissioner Doug Spencer said. â€śThat is all I can really say. The search continues.â€ť
