A dog that attacked a Wapakoneta man Monday night is being quarantined for 10 days by orders of the Auglaize County dog warden.
Dog Warden Russ Bailey said the 3-year-old male boxer and lab mix is being kept in quarantine at the owner’s house on Murray Street.
The dog is owned by Mike Jackson, 30, according to a Wapakoneta police officer’s report.
An investigation is ongoing and charges are expected, Wapakoneta police clerk Denise Kohler said.

Scott recently received the Award of Service medal from the Queen of England, Queen Elizabeth, for her service in the Women’s Land Army in England.
Barbara A. Stroh, 83, 100 Bielefeld St., New Knoxville, died suddenly at 12:05 a.m. Tuesday, April 17, 2012, at Joint Township District Memorial Hospital in St. Marys.
She was born March 26, 1929, in Belle Center, Ohio, the daughter of Jennie (Dutcher) and William Painter.
She married Ralph E. Stroh on May 26, 1947, and he survives at the residence.
She is also survived by her two sons: William Stroh, of Divide, Colo.; and Dennis Stroh of New Knoxville.
Bob Stewart, 79, of 15825 Amsterdam Road, Anna, joined the Lord and his family and friends in Heaven on Tuesday, April 17, 2012, at 3:12 a.m.
Robert Herman Stewart was born March 22, 1933, in Shelby County to Agnes (Johnson) and Walter Stewart who preceded him in death. He was a 1951 graduate of Sidney High School.
John J. Dorner, 75, of Wapakoneta, died 7:55 p.m., Tuesday April 17, 2012, at his residence. Arrangements are incomplete at the Bayliff & Eley Funeral Home, Wapakoneta.
Jacob Vernon Tummel, 11 days, died Sunday, April 15, 2012, at St. Ritaâs Medical Center in Lima.
He was born April 4, 2012, at St. Ritaâs Medical Center in Lima, the son of Stephanie Bishop and Aaron J. Tummel, who survive.
Also surviving are a brother, Jonathan Tummel, and a sister, Alana Tummel.
Services are at 1 p.m. Friday at Bayliff & Son Funeral Home in Cridersville, the Rev. Jerry Wiles officiating. Burial will follow at Woodlawn Cemetery in Lima.
Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.

Robert E. âBobâ Seibert, 86, of rural Wapakoneta, died 4:07 p.m., Mon. April 16, 2012, at St. Ritaâs Medical Center, Lima.
He was born Jan. 10, 1926, in Van Wert County, the son of Doris (Mack) and John Seibert, who preceded him in death. On Sept. 20, 1945, he married Augusta M. Johns, and she died Feb. 5, 2001. On Aug. 11, 2001, he married Naomi M. Hickerson Souder, and she survives.
Brian Anthony Ross, 29, of Delphos, died at noon on Sunday, April 15, 2012, at St. Ritaâs Medical Center in Lima.
He was born Feb. 22, 1983, in Lima, the son of the late Karen Sue Bowers and William Allen Ross.
Services will be held at a later date.

Patricia R. Gray, 85, 2700 Pelham Court, Toledo, died at 4:50 p.m. Friday, April 13, 2012, in Clarksville, Tenn.
She was born Feb. 6, 1927, in Toledo, the daughter of Ruth (Sherman) and Ernest Hess. On Feb. 14, 1969, in Toledo, she married Fred Gray Jr., who died May 30, 1990.
Surviving are two sons, Gary Hopkins, of Toledo, and Dale Hopkins, of Toledo; and a daughter, Pamela (Hazen âJoeâ) Harrison, of Clarksville, Tenn.
She was preceded in death by two sons, William âBillâ Hopkins and David Hopkins.
