Charles Irvin Presar, 80, of Buckhannon, W. Va., died Sunday, April 15, 2012 at Ruby Memorial Hospital in Morgantown, W. Va.
He was born Jan. 25, 1932, in Gary, Ind., a son of the late Alma Marie (Kellermeyer) and Irvin Emil Presar. On Oct. 12, 1962, he married Sandra E. Hablitzel who survives.
John L. Roby, 69, of 328 Marsh Drive, St. Marys, died 3:25 p.m. Wednesday, April 11, 2012, at Joint Township District Memorial Hospital.
He was born March 29, 1943, in St. Marys, the son of Lela Elizabeth (Auspaugh) and Edward Rufus Roby.
He married Charlene Bonifas on Dec. 23, 1995, and she survives at the residence.
He is also survived by his five children, Roy Roby, of St. Marys, Gary Roby of St. Marys, Mike Roby of St. Marys, Trent Roby, of St. Marys, and Melissa Vogel, of St. Marys.
Christopher L. Joseph of Lima died Tuesday night, April 10, 2012, in Lima. He was born Jan. 22, 1982, in Lima. He is the son of Lynn Edward Joseph and the late Darlinda Mae Ream Joseph. His father survives in Indiana.
He also is survived by a daughter, Serenity VestaAnn Joseph of Lima.
Funeral services will begin at 2 p.m., Monday, at Bayliff & Son Funeral Home, Cridersville, with the Rev. Eric Allen officiating. Burial will follow in Shawnee Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from noon to 2 p.m., Monday at the funeral home.
John Robert Wistner, 78, of Haviland, passed gently into the arms of Jesus Thursday, April 12, 2012, at Richland Manor in Bluffton.
He was born Sept. 21, 1933, in Grover Hill, the son of Marcile and John Wistner. On Sept. 3, 1960, he married Cora Moore, who survives.
Mary Lou Reynolds, 81, of Cridersville, died at 7:05 p.m. Wednesday, April 11, 2012, at Lima Memorial Health Care System.
She was born May 28, 1930, in Jackson, the daughter of the late Anna Graham (Shepherd) and Charles Roy Yinger. On June 19, 1948, she married Elliott Reynolds, and he preceded her in death May 23, 1999.
With scenes larger than ever before and a cast the most numerous its been for many years, Wapakoneta High School students are putting the final touches on their production of “The Sound of Music” this week.
Including crew, costuming and lighting, more than 60 students are involved with the musical to be presented Thursday through Sunday at the Wapakoneta Performing Arts Center.

Dr. Thomas Freytag, the medical director at Occupational Health within Lima Memorial System, was recently named the Ohio Athletic Trainers’ Association (OATA) Team Physician Award.
Freytag, who was the family physician with Lincoln Family Practice for year, serves as the team physician in Wapakoneta and has been doing this for 32 years.
While Dominion Gas has started replacing natural gas lines and laterals, Wapakoneta administrators received official notice the city was awarded $330,028 for the East Benton Street reconstruction project.
The Ohio Public Works Commission notified the city of the award late last week.
Running paint brushes over walls and dressing room fixtures of Mercy Unlimited, Wapakoneta Electric Department and Public Works Department employees donated their time Saturday to a national Day of Caring effort by the United Way.
The group donated their time last year as well. Last year, they found themselves working at the downtown Wapakoneta thrift store but repairing flood damage then.
