Carlotta Sue Golden, 60, of Lima, died at her home Saturday, Jan. 18, 2014. She was born June 17, 1953, in Lima to Ollie James and Helen Lucille Green Williams Sr. Â Her father preceded her in death and her mother survives in Lima.Â She married Michael Ward Golden March 19, 1972, who survives in Lima.
Mrs. Golden was a member of the American Legion Post 96 Ladies Auxiliary. She enjoyed spending time with family.
JACKSON CENTER — The Wapakoneta Redskins had to find patience on defense Saturday as the young Jackson Center Tigers aimed to be deliberate in their offense regardless of what the scoreboard showed.
Wapak comfortably led the entire game Saturday in its 56-33 non-league win over Jackson Center in varsity girls basketball action at Jackson Center High School.
In an age where online shopping has increasingly challenged retail stores, many businesses are seeing their profits suffer.

A local organization is offering senior citizens assistance with preparing their tax returns by eliminating costs and stress.
Auglaize County Council on Aging will be partnering with AARP and will help those over the age of 60 fill out their tax returns. Services will be offered in both Wapakoneta and St. Marys.
