Jack Brincefield, 73

Jack Brincefield, 73, of Van Wert, passed away at Van Wert Inpatient Hospice Center at 1:45 a.m. on Jan. 14, 2014. Jack was born on Sept. 30, 1940, in Auglaize County, to the late Theodore A. and Leota E. (Keiber) Brincefield. He had been previously married to Sue Mohr and Jane Huston, who both survive.

Robert J. “Bob” Fritz, 89

Robert J. “Bob” Fritz, 89, of 2304 Kensington Drive, St. Marys, and a resident of the St. Marys Living Center, died at 4:50 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 14, 2014, at the St. Marys Living Center.

He was born March 29, 1924, in Wapakoneta, the son of Oliver and Minerva (Dresher) Fritz.

He married Dorothy L. Jurosic on May 25, 1950, at Saint Joseph Catholic Church in Wapakoneta and she survives at the residence.

ST. MARYS — Doug Frye will try to rebuild the St. Marys football program that he carefully tended for 11 seasons, the one he watched fall into disrepair in the five seasons since he left.

Frye was officially named head coach of the Roughriders at a St. Marys Board of Education meeting Wednesday night.
