Charlie Comer, 74, of Wapakoneta, died at 8:38 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 19, 2012, at his residence.

S. Andrew Liming, 57, 2260 Celina Road, St. Marys, died Tuesday, Feb. 14, 2012, at his residence.
He was born Oct. 20, 1953, in Xenia, the son of Maryjane (Webster) and Ervin Liming. His mother survives in St. Marys.
Services are at 11 a.m. Thursday at Miller Funeral Home in St. Marys.
Burial, with full military honors, will take place at Dayton National Cemetery in Dayton.
Friends may call from 5 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.

Robert E. â€śBobâ€ť Becker, 87, of Wapakoneta, died at 5:54 p.m. Friday, Feb. 18, 2012, at the Lima Memorial Health System.
He was born May 19, 1924, in Spencerville, the son of Gertha M. (Rempher) and George P. Becker, who preceded him in death. On Feb. 16, 1945, he married Eileen R. (Barton) Becker, and she died Jan. 23, 2002.
Andy Faller and Kaleb Vondenhuevel were in the seventh grade the last time the Wapakoneta Redskins varsity boys basketball team won a Western Buckeye League game at home.
Friday night, in the final home WBL games of their careers, the two seniors saw the five-year drought come to an end.
Wapak overcame a sluggish start and held off the Shawnee Indians for a 63-58 win.
The Redskins had not won a league game at Wapakoneta High School since defeating the Celina Bulldogs on February 23, 2007.

Ruth Eleanore Holtzhauer Rohrbach, 88, joined other family members and friends when she passed away at 4:15 a.m. Feb. 17, 2012.
She was the daughter of Olvina (Hoagland) and Joseph Holtzhauer.
She married Norman Rohrbach on May 11, 1946, whom she continued to love throughout her life.
She is survived by a son, James Rohrbach, of Sidney; a daughter, Theresa Kemmann, of St.Marys; a daughter, Rebecca Koverman, of New Bremen; and a son, Timothy Rohrbach, of New Knoxville.
Those who preceded her in death were her husband, Norman Rohrbach, and son, Norman Thomas Rohrbach.
Donald â€śDonâ€ť William Yost, 79, of Wapakoneta, husband of Susan Kay McElroy Yost, died Tuesday evening, January 31, 2012, at St. Josephâ€™s Hospital, in Savannah.
Born in Pennsylvania, he was a son of the late Frank Yost and the late Lois Hess Yost.
He was married to his wife for 53 years, and she survives in Wapakoneta.

Local students teamed up with the Downtown Wapakoneta Partnership and a downtown building owner to create a second Victorian-style artwork.
Wapakoneta High School art students painted murals that are displayed in the windows above the Riverside Art Center and Custom Staffing Wapakoneta â€” on the upper level of the building.
The five murals create a scene with a painter and children set in the Victorian era in the building owned by Red Dog properties, at the intersection of Auglaize and Willipie streets.
ST. MARYS â€” Local school and county officials gathered at Memorial High School in St. Marys on Friday morning to practice their responses in the event of an emergency.
The Auglaize County Local Emergency Planning Committee (LEPC) held a tabletop exercise for first responders and school officials centered around a scenario of a vehicle crash into a substation along U.S. 33, near the high school. Auglaize County EMA Director Troy Anderson ran the various officials through a set of scenarios in real time and assessed their responses.
