Jamie Lynn Rammel, 27, of Celina, died Monday, Aug. 20, 2012, at Mercer County Hospital in Coldwater.
She was born Dec. 10, 1984, in Coldwater, the daughter of Dona J. (Goodwin) Kaler and Richard “Ralf Rammel. Her mother and step-father, Paul Kaler, survivie in Camp Hill, Pa. Her father survives in Celina.
Also surviving are a son, Brandon Hemmelgarn, of Celina; and two daughters, Lillian Hemmelgarn, of Celina, and Taylor Hemmelgarn, of Celina.
She was preceded in death by an infant child, “Junior.”
Nettie M. Davis, 92, of Vandalia, formerly of Wapakoneta, died at 10:50 a.m. Tuesday, Aug. 21, 2012, at Otterbein-Cridersville.
She was born July 28, 1920, in Logan County, the daughter of Martha (Giberson) and Frank Walters, who preceded her in death. On Nov. 8, 1939, she married Floyd L. Davis, and he died July 5, 2008.

A Waynesfield church congregation is banding together to help their pastor fight breast cancer and they are hoping others in the area will help.
Katie Hayes, the pastor of Waynesfield United Methodist Church, was diagnosed with breast cancer earlier this year after a misdiagnosis last year. By the time the cancer was diagnosed correctly, it had also spread to her lymph glands. In the past few months Hayes has undergone surgery and chemotherapy and is now receiving radiation treatments.
An upcoming exhibit includes art not only for all ages but from all ages.
The Riverside Art Center, in Wapakoneta has their fourth annual Greater Wapakoneta Community Art Exhibit ready to go for their opening reception on Friday.
Riverside Art Center Gallery Director Anna Fisher said there is a variety of artworks displayed during this exhibit which will be shown until Sept. 29.

Auglaize County is one of 37 counties in the state receiving federal aid to supplement recovery efforts by government agencies after a severe wind storm hit the area June 29.
A recent designation by U.S. Agriculture Secretary Tom Vilsack should help county farmers seek relief due to this year’s drought-like conditions, but the extent of that help will depend on Congress’s ability to get legislation passed, a local farming authority says.
Vilsack announced Wednesday 10 Ohio counties as primary natural disaster counties and 11 other counties as contiguous disaster counties, including Auglaize County.
Two men elected to the Auglaize Soil and Water Conservtion District (SWCD) say they are eager to start their terms at the beginning of the new year.
Rick Place and Jeff Zwiebel were elected to three-year terms on the SWCD’s Board of Supervisors, which was announced at the end of the Tuesday’s annual meeting at the St. Joseph Parish Life Center in Wapakoneta after all votes had been tallied. Anyone that was a resident in Auglaize County that owned land in Auglaize County was eligible to vote.

Linda A. Petty, 69, of Wapakoneta, and formerly of Carthage, Mo., died Monday, Aug. 20, 2012, at Miami Valley Hospital in Dayton.
She was born March 23, 1943, in Dayton, to Helen (Althouse) and Richard Longenecker. Her father preceded her in death and her mother survives in Sidney. On Feb. 20, 1962, she married Tony D. Petty, and he survives in Wapakoneta.
