PAC changes: Wapak Schools changes how it handles PAC

Wapakoneta City Schools Board of Education members decided to move in a different direction with rentals of the Performing Arts Center (PAC).

Board members voted during Tuesday’s meeting to establish reimbursement rates for workers at events held at the PAC. The rates would be charged on an as-needed basis with $125 going toward each a site coordinator and lights and sound person and $50 for a student assistant. Additional fees could be charged for utilities and janitorial services as needed.

TSC expands service

TSC is expanding their service to its telephone customers.

Starting Monday, TSC is expanding the places and telephone exchanges that customers can call — most likely reducing customers long-distance fees.

Acting out: Drama camp teaches basics of acting

Local youth can take advantage to learn about acting and to practice what they have learned at a local drama camp.

The Riverside Art Center is hosting its second-ever Drama Camp at St. Paul United Church of Christ, in Wapakoneta, this week.

“In a weeks time, they get the basics,” Riverside Art Center Vice President Maggie Bowsher said. “They all kind of amaze me.”
