BATH TOWNSHIP — It’s the little things that add up.
An error here. A walk there.
They caught up with the Wapakoneta Redskins on Friday night.
The Redskins didn’t make a lot of mistakes. But the Bath Wildcats pounced on the ones they did for a 5-4 win in a Western Buckeye League varsity baseball game at Bath High School.
Bath took advantage of a lead-off walk in the bottom of the seventh inning, scoring two runs to rally from a 4-3 deficit for the win.
The Bath Wildkittens scored early, and they scored often.
Bath quickly jumped out to a 3-0 lead in the first inning and continued to pound the ball throughout the game in a 10-0, run rule-shortened win over the Wapakoneta Redskins in a Western Buckeye League varsity softball game Friday at Wapakoneta High School.

The Wapakoneta Redskins rolled to a 5-0 sweep of the Bath Wildcats in a Western Buckeye League varsity boys tennis match Friday at the Rotary Club courts at Wapakoneta High School.
With the win, Wapak is now 4-4 overall and 3-1 in WBL play. Bath is 0-5 and 0-4.
Wapak’s Nic Oen posted a 6-1, 6-1 win over Jason Lauf in first singles.
In second singles it was Joey Jose cruising to a 6-0, 6-0 shutout of Nick Cunningham.
Andy Faller completed the singles sweep, besting Garrett Renner 6-2, 6-1 in third singles.
