For 32 minutes Friday night, the Wapakoneta Redskins gave the undefeated and state-ranked Defiance Bulldogs all they could handle and then some.

WAYNESFIELD â The Waynesfield-Goshen Tigers ended an eight-game losing streak with a big conference win, edging the Upper Scioto Valley Rams 40-35 on Friday night in Waynesfield.
The Tigers improved to 3-8 overall and 1-2 in Northwest Central Conference play.
The score was tied with 6:54 left in the game. But clutch free throws late by Colton Miller and Jacob Frank helped the Tigers eke out a victory.
âThe guys played hard tonight and it was a good win,â W-G varsity coach Ryan Taylor said.
