Robert N. âRobbieâ Rister Sr., 36, of Delphos, died Thursday Aug. 4, 2011.
He was born Feb. 14, 1975 in Lima to Elsie âAnnaâ Keller Rister who survives in Cridersville. On Nov. 4, 2000 he married Linda M. Hesseling who survives in Delphos.
Survivors include a son Robert Nicholas âRobbieâ Rister Jr. of Delphos.
The family will receive friends from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 Tuesday at Bayliff & Son Funeral Home.
Services will begin at 1 p.m., Wednesday at Bayliff & Son Funeral Home, with the Rev. Jim Loescher will officiate. Burial will follow in Allentown Cemetery.
William A. âBillâ Wills, 70, of Wapakoneta, died 1:32 a.m., Saturday, Aug. 6, 2011, at his residence.
He was born Aug. 14, 1940, in Wapakoneta, the son of Bessie (Darst) and James âPeteâ Wills, who preceded him in death. On Sept. 2, 1961, he married Charlotte M. Hemmert, and she survives.
Viola Arnett, 76, died at 3:45 a.m., Monday, Aug. 8, 2011, at her residence in McGuffey.

Robert Goodwin, 91, of St. Marys, OH died Monday August 8, 2011 at his residence.

Jesse Christopher Daniel, infant son of Zach and Katlin (Thompson) Daniel, died Saturday Aug. 6, 2011, at Childrenâs Medical Center in Dayton.

Leona Schultz, 92, of St. Marys, died Sunday, Aug. 7, 2011 at St. Marys Living Center.

Loraine Cecillia Garee, 82, of Lima, died at 6:15 p.m., Friday, Aug. 5, 2011, at her residence in Lima surrounded by her loving family.
She was born May 9, 1929, in Detroit, the daughter of Evelyn (Dubeau) and Albert Durand, who are deceased. On Oct. 9, 1947, she married Robert Eugene Garee, who died on May 9, 1990.
After listening to complaints and concerns from parents and other 4-H members about the 159th Auglaize County Fair for much of Thursdayâs meeting, the tone of the Junior Fair post-fair evaluation meeting changed at the end.
Parents praised Junior Fair Board members for the work they do in making the Junior Fair events and the entire fair a success.
CRIDERSVILLE â Leaders of an area village sat down with a civil engineer to discuss questions dealing with their zoning.
Cridersville Village Council Planning Committee members met with Tony Schroeder, of Choice One Engineering, to discuss issues involving the zoning issues that have arose in the village.
Councilors are currently in the process of updating their zoning of the village, which were formed in the late 1990s.
When Schroeder was asked how they should handle specific situations, Schroeder said it revolves around the villageâs image and make-up.
The new lieutenant on the midnight shift at the Wapakoneta Police Department, who also was recently assigned as the K-9 handler, says he is looking forward to the extra responsibility.
âIt was a goal, but it came a little quicker than I expected it to,â Joe Welker said of his newest position, which he began last week after scoring well on a written test.
He was named as the handler of the departmentâs new K-9, Rico, in April.
âYou canât really count on timing,â Welker, 29, said of positions and advancements in law enforcement. âBoth are something Iâve always wanted to do.â
