Parts of the Oklahoma City metro area and its surrounding suburbs were leveled by the storm. As of early Tuesday morning, 51 people were confirmed dead, with more expected according to the Associated Press. The sports world took to social media to express their condolences and, in some cases, make pledges to help the victims and their communities.
